Re: Thoughts on the H-scenes?

He did actually slow down when he noticed her discomfort but given the situation breaking it off altogether didn't seem like a smart option either...given the fact communication between them was still extremely stunted.

Re: Emi Ibarazaki's past encounters...

3. Emi says "If I didn't know why..." and then "No idea". It was evident she'd had a small slip of the tongue bringing up Misha, and didn't want to discuss her lesbianism before recreationally procreating with Hisao. So why the scenario of Emi (who has shown no interest in girls at any point in the...

Re: Hyacinth [18+] (Lilly Neutral End)

Pretty nice read, though I found the idea of Hanako working in retail (which I assume means she works in a store selling stuff to people) a bit much. Not only would that require more assertiveness than Hanako'd probably have for a long time, but it's unlikely many store managers would decide to make...

Re: FDA approves new "blindness curing" glasses

How can you cure a vaguely-defined series of disorders with no determined singular cause? Silly internet...
Not just the internet. There's several foundations in real life set up around funding research for that very thing. Not by autists themselves mind you, mostly by parents of severe cases.

Re: Emi Ibarazaki's past encounters...

Also has no such indication... Depending on how much you want to read into it: - During their date, Lilly mentions she's received several confessions, both at Yamaku and at her previous school. - That previous school was an all-girls school, so it's not unlikely at all several of those confessions ...

Not only her but a significant majority of the Deaf community thinks so. We're people, not robots >.> The online autistic community is pretty similar. No matter how miserable their condition sometimes makes them, bring up the subject of "cures" and a flamewar is pretty much guaranteed to break out....

Re: Emi Ibarazaki's past encounters...

I thought it was implied fairly strongly that Emi'd practiced her special talents with Misha some time before this scene (technically possibly even after Hisao arrived). I don't think it's implied anywhere. Emi specifically mentions she had a boyfriend before Hisao and there's no indication anywher...

Re: Emi Ibarazaki's past encounters...

I played Emi's arc before Shizune's, but I do remember that part. I'm not too surprised that Emi knows. I bet Lilly and Hanako know as well. Hisao already notes in one of the routes that there's an effective rumor mill at Yamaku, since even Kenji picks up on stuff now and then. It's pretty much inev...

Re: FDA approves new "blindness curing" glasses

imagine how she would react to Hanako Probably not as shocked as you'd think. Expectations make a large difference. When Hisao gets to see Hanako naked, he mentions to himself the sight isn't nearly as shocking as it could have been, since he's already seen the scars on her face and hand and that m...

Re: The Ultimate Dude Magnet

Emi...leaves behind a trail of broken hearts everywhere she goes... This is the only one confirmed by the story. No other opinion is valid. (But speculation is still fun.) It's confirmed in the story that Emi had ONE boyfriend that she ended up breaking up with, but it's also confirmed in the story...

Re: Career Day

Hisao: Science Teacher. Whenever he thinks far enough ahead during some routes, this is what he usually comes down to. Lilly: English Teacher. She outright states this as a goal in her route. Hanako: I agree with editor or working for a publishing company. Otherwise, I could see her going into creat...

Re: What does Iwanako look like?

I always pictured her as looking slightly like Hanako as well. (minus the scarring) Similar body build (but slightly less tall), dark hair (but shorter) and Hisao said she came across as slightly fragile. (which is also the impression Hanako gives off)

Re: Who's your favorite and least favorite character?

Basically, Kenji states the reason for his conspiracy theories to be the fact he felt tired after sex. Indeed, it makes no sense and I'd agree the guy has issues.

Re: The Mutou Appreciation Thread

I've had teachers like that in high school. They had the tendency to focus on that one pupil who seemed to excel in their subject. If what Mutou says about Hisao being the only one who gets his lectures is even remotely true, he's not an extremely good teacher. I've had teachers like that myself...t...
