You seem to have forgotten the by line... Also the PoV switches between Emi and Kenji. You might want to mention it's a bit of a sci-fi fantasy, as well. The Kenji Files; Ibarazaki and Setou by (ongoing, wordcount pending)
PoV: Emi; Pairings: none; Begins: after graduation

Re: The Yamaku Library - The fan fiction archive - 30/10/13
Note : I'm not OP, just a person asking a question. What would people think of a "best works" section? That section would include the fanfics with the highest acclaim in the community. Some examples could be Sisterhood or the Pseudo-Suzu route Favoritism breeds arguments. We have enough of those wi...

Re: Fanfiction OC Intro "That Girl"
Nope. Script format is a huge turn-off when reading fanfiction. Also, try to keep it to present tense. About half of your story is written in past tense^^° Yeah, either that or make it all past tense... either way, really. Stick to one or the other. Starting out it can get a little confusing making...

Re: Hisao and Kenji: Masterful One Shots! Summer Update
Part of it was me sorting through my thoughts and feelings, but another part, I think, thought that my closeness to Sizune had meant something more than friendship to her, and maybe, if she had time without me, she’d rethink her earlier position. Shizune* You missed an H. texted Evidently the verb ...

we both know Shizune will just kill Hisao and I both You know what me mean? Congrats on finishing another one! I feel I should point out that the error here is part of Kenji's dialogue, and people don't always speak with perfect grammar. Anyway, I'm glad to see people commenting finally. After last...

Re: A Molly route. Update 26/10/13
An excerpt from something I abandoned a while back, this is how I handled a character's death scene from the first person perspective: Coughing and gasping as blood filled my lungs, my oxygen deprived mind tried to delay the inevitable, sending me twitching involuntarily as I listened to the heavyse...

Re: A Molly route.
You're misusing a common word in your forum signature, of all things. I don't think I need to add anything more than this. Actually, either version of your or you're works for that statement. It's either a right you have (your right), or you are right (you're right). Of course, I don't know if it's...

Re: Hanako/Hisao post-Yamaku fics (Updated 10/12/13)
I want to think that Hanako, despite all her suffering, does go on to have a happy life, with someone who cares for her. If she can find someone, then maybe theres a chance, however slim, that the rest of us can too. Curse your damnable logic and its effects on my Bitter Old Man Cynicism(tm)! Grey ...

Re: A Molly route.
Sunlight doesn't brake(to slow down) through anything, it breaks(to separate, shatter or otherwise smash) through. Also, don't capitalize words that aren't at the beginning of a sentence, or aren't proper nouns. "Amazing" is not a proper noun in this context. Starting in medias res , or "in the mids...

Re: The Yamaku Library - The fan fiction archive - 20/10/13
I'm not really sure a date in the thread title will be very helpful. For fanfictions, if the date changes you know that a new chapter has been added and that you'll find it at the end of the thread. For the archive you'll only know that something has been added somewhere and I don't think anybody w...

Re: The Yamaku Library - A fan fiction archive
Could I offer a suggestion? Given that this is an archive for an ever changing library of fan fiction, and it will get its index updated intermittently, it might be worth the readers' time to add the last update day to the title line so it's visible without having to open it and check the index. Thi...

Re: bhtooefr's one-shot and drabble thread
This doesn't quite seem like a complete fic, though. It's more like a blurb one might write as a basis for a larger story.
