Re: What third ending should Lilly and Shizune had?
Anyway, another possible bad end for Lilly's Route: Hisao is lying on his bed trying to go to sleep. He had a bit of a long day with Lilly and just want some rest for the next day. The one second where he thought he could get some sleep he here's a knock on the door. Annoyed, he answered the door a...

Re: Should I play all characters, and all routes?
Honestly, I was tentative about bothering with Emi and Lilly's routes. Having finished all of them, though, I'm glad I took the time. Don't let your first perception of the characters stop you from exploring their stories - there's much more to them than the first few casual meetings portend. Readin...

Re: What third ending should Lilly and Shizune had?
To me the Shizune endings were Good and Neutral. Sadly, I think the 'bad' ending would have involved Shizune and Hisao failing to help Misha overcome her depression -or see past it, as it were- and ended with a funeral where they end up breaking up over Misha's suicide. That wouldn't be in the spiri...

Re: Which of the characters would date you?
I might as well finish out the rest of the characters if only to sate my own curiosity. Shiina (Misha) would probably grate on my nerves. That said, I think Shizune would pursue me, and Misha would follow suit. I don't think she'd consider me romantically, though. I wouldn't be able to hide my disc...

Re: Would you donate to a disabled school for children?
He has a point, though.
Kids are small, but not that small - even Derek Zoolander knows how big little kids really are.
When Ben Stiller dies in a comedic train-wreck, who will take his place?

Re: Accurate Portrayal of a Social Phobia in a Visual Novel
Yeah, makes sense. I mean, you're really just putting a label on it, but it's pretty clear reading the story. I can attest to the accuracy having had personal experience with social anxiety. Though I was never so severe as to have panic attacks, reading Hanako's story was very familiar. The fact tha...

Re: Does KS really cause Manly Tears
It might also depend on your definition of crying. Crying can be straight-up bawling; reddened face streamed with tears that haphazardly fall wherever you've stuffed your head into to hide, shoulders shaking, whimpering and sniffling with abandon. It could also just be sitting there with an awestruc...

Re: Would you donate to a disabled school for children?
I hope I'm not dredging up a topic that should be left behind, but I had a thought upon reading the title. If reading this story has inspired you to perhaps get involved, there are ways other than by donating money to offer your assistance. I can't be specific since I haven't researched it myself, b...

Re: Different (and possibly sexy) looks for characters
Hanako, in a green jumpsuit with a black helmet tucked under her arm, hair cut into a bob with her trademark half-bangs; aviator sunglasses rest on the tip of her nose, over which she peers down at the dashboard of her black and blue Suzuki Hyabusa motorcycle with an ear-to-ear grin. Seeing the worl...

Re: Which ending did you feel hurt the most?
I was usually more affected by the climax than the catharsis or the epilogue. Still, looking back I'm pretty sure Rin's endings were the most disturbing. There's a sense of not knowing in them that leaves you feeling a bit hollow unlike the other ends - good and bad - that were much more final. So, ...

Re: Hisao and Kenji- Master Detectives! 6/29 Update
Four security guards were stunned and ahead of the newly opened double doors, and we were able to and take them out as we took cover behind the remains of the double doors. Something there needs fixing - rewording, I think. Now that that's out of the way, why did this have to stop there? It was jus...

Re: Freaks and Friends
It's a rather quick read, but it gets the point across. Rin's appearance grounds the story (which is really odd considering its Rin) to a basic time and place - though I can't be certain if it might be much further back in time than the beginning of that final year. I like the characterization of th...

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 6/25)
My real guess is that it's an OC can you at least confirm/deny that? That would probably be giving away a truckload of future emotional bombardment, so I really doubt he'll just announce who it is in the thread. That would be like telling people who Keyser Söze is at the beginning of The Usual Susp...

Re: Which character did you get most attached to and why
Oh, I'd be attached because she's quiet, polite, likes to read, cook, play chess and sing, and she's adorable. The fact that I'd also understand her insecurities is just icing. Her and Emi actually have a lot in common as far as that goes except that Hanako is drawn inward behind her scars while Emi...
