Lock them in a room with a laptop that can run either Minesweeper or Katawa Shoujo. They'll crack eventually, or they'll play the game. Either way it should be fun to watch.

Sign-Names
I was doing some research for my fan fiction, and I came across an interesting blurb about sign-language. From Wikipedia: In Deaf culture and sign language, a sign name is a special sign that is used to uniquely identify a person, just like a name. There are some special cultural rules around sign ...

I added these ones to the above post...
Let's see...
I've actually built all those songs into a playlist. It's on repeat.

Re: A Memory Hisao has of Lilly
I really like the story. Can't wait to see what's next. As for Lilly being Christian, it hasn't been made a huge plot point, and she did where a cross in the game, so why are people making such a big deal about it? Besides, cpl_crud said that he has a problem with many fan fics because they try too...

Re: You have been playing too much KS when...
You lay in bed at night wishing that there was a real Akira out there waiting for you. :| She exists, though I'm not sure she'd quite have the same androgynous look or blonde hair. The personality, on the other hand, is out there and exists among the feminine population. I'm pretty sure if I think ...

Re: Tomorrow's Doom - Aiko Kurai (OC) Updated 7/17
It would be amusing if Hisao discovered Aiko's small lie by seeing how poorly she does with swimming two days in a row. I think establishing that she could slink back into it doing 8 laps after two weeks-ish of Festival prep kind of nullifies that possibility. She was breathing hard at the end, but...

Re: (Un)broken (Emi prologue)
Hmm. I'm not sure where you get the 4-month coma part. First, a couple is two. If I recall correctly, in Emi's route, either her of Meiko mention Emi didn't even attend her father's funeral, and was still bedridden two months later. It's never mentioned whether she was comatose, though, and I don't...

Re: Tomorrow's Doom - Aiko Kurai (OC) Updated 7/17
I'm thinking it's going to be Aiko who has the greater difficulty with day two, seeing as Hisao has already had a 'day two' with running. Of course, Aiko didn't go all out in her workout here, so maybe it will be easier. And Star Wars reference FTW! Thanks for reminding me of that, I'd almost forgo...

Re: (Un)broken (Emi prologue)
And waking up from emergency surgery and instantly being able to sit up and throwing off the covers is... let's say extremely uncommon. The rest I agree with, but if you recall, Emi didn't actually wake up for a couple months after the accident. She didn't just have the surgery, in other words, tho...

Re: Tomorrow's Doom - Aiko Kurai (OC) Updated 7/19
Does that mean you are also deaf in one ear? I'm sorry that was a shitty joke. No, sir. I explained before (in my notes somewhere) that particular experience is more indirect. I had frequent ear infections (2-4 times a year, for weeks at a time), usually in my right ear, that would result in proble...

Chapter 8 - Rhythmic Breathing
Little insomnia as I sit here... waking up 2 hours early. Figured I'd post this while I was coherent for a while. Tactical emotional bombing ahead, fair warning. Weighty, though it isn't a particularly long chapter. Previous Chapter | Next Chapter __________________________________________ Chapter ...

...This may be a sign of too much Twin Peaks OR too much KS but after my last manly picnic, I imagined Cooper rolling into town and uncovering all sorts of crazy supernatural stuff at Yamaku...Which makes Kenji's early rambling about "dark secrets" awesome in hindsight. ...Oh snap, CROSSOVER FANFIC...

Re: Favorite Characters? Why?
Shizune. If you really pay attention to what she's saying, she's got the biggest heart in the game. The fact that she's actually terrible at showing it is endearing. I don't think it would be possible to be bored around her. Kenji. He's the most consistent character, and might be the most complex. C...
