Re: Misha's disabillity?

angleman syndrome? I don't understand how people can guess these obscure conditions without even bothering with basic research: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angelman_syndrome "Most afflicted people will not develop more than 5–10 words, if any at all." One out of many things listed on the Wikipedia...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Virgin heroine?

I think we need a little separation of terms and ideas here. Re: the virginity fetish - Technically we mean sexual quirk, since a fetish is a clinical condition by which you are incapable of completing the sexual act without its presence (e.g., a man who simply cannot get an erection if the girl isn...

Otherwise, fantastic chapter.
Relax. No one believes something as absurd as that. It's another example of the author emphasising just how stupid Hisao is.

Re: Misha route?

Jesus, I thought that he'd just gotten rid of "Misstep" and his stories that were closer to "really not goddamn cool, man" than "pretty alright". I could understand his removal of works like "Cutter", but............ "Shiina Mikado vs the World" and "Braving the Storm" were in my headcanon, man. My...

Re: Yamaku student body, architecture, etc.

We kind of sort of have answers to both of those. According to the Devs, there are four third-year classes (3-1, 3-2, 3-3, and 3-4). 3-1 is specifically for deaf students, 3-2 for blind. Hisao's class is 3-3, and Emi and Rin are in 3-4. If we use 3-3 as a basis, there are 18 seats per class. On the ...

Re: Misha route?

All these Doomish fics being linked reminds me why I miss Doomish :( Does he have a pastebin and does anyone know why he edited away all his fics? He has a pastebin, but he wiped that, too. As I understand, he decided that he doesn't have a future in writing and should move on. He also considered t...

Re: Redshift - Rika Route [7/13]

I think I found a missing word here: She never gave me a reason for her disappearance, she just up and stopped talking to me. Stood up? Gave up? Otherwise, nice chapter. You do seem to continue introducing new characters, and I'm interested in seeing what will come out of all this. :) No, he just u...

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)

I just remembered. Eyebrows. A person's eyebrows is the same colour as their pubic hair [someone on FB mentioned it, don't ask] (Hanako's are either black or dark purple). And Misha is the only one who's eyebrows don't match her hair colour (but that's expected because of the dye) Where do you peop...

Please indicate, with citations where it's explicitly stated that Emi is not a virgin. I honestly missed that part.

Re: Katawa Shoujo Virgin heroine?

Well, first of all, What the fuck? Seriously, that's one of the shallowest, most judgmental standards possible. I'm well aware that it's extremely common, but seriously? For the sake of argument, let's propose that Lily wasn't a virgin, for whatever reason. Would that make the relationship any less ...

I, I, I, I... She, she, she, she, she... Her voice, her voice, her voice... I give a sigh, she gives a sigh, he gives a sigh, we give a sigh, they give sighs... The repetition of words and phrases is a bit heavy. It happens to everyone (You should see some of my prerelease drafts ><). Something you ...

Re: Mean Time to Breakdown — (Iwanako, Divergence) {u 5/03/2

Well, I've been meaning to real this (It's on "the list"), but haven't gotten around to it yet. Normally that means I wouldn't even be here, but I dropped by on a whim. Personally, I think there are advantages to either form of critique. For a work in progress, it helps to identify what is working a...

Re: Flowing Red - Rika Route [6/23]

Not entirely sure why; but I hesitate to read this after having read Rikabro's route... Don't. They're separate and independent works. If you enjoy one more than the other, that's all well and good. But it doesn't serve anyone if people assert any given piece of fanfiction as the definitive version...

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)

Well, if there are specific examples, feel free to bring them up. I was always bad about providing specific examples. I'd say the biggest things are that Hisao seems so formal, and every once in a while I'd stumble over a particularly odd turn of phrase. I know that's not very helpful, but I'm not ...
