Re: Ask!
I don't know where exactly to ask this, so I'm posting this here. I'm thinking of making a fan-game of Katawa Shoujo based around the premise of Yume Nikki (i.e. exploring and finding effects. its still in idea phase, i'll iron out the details later). obviously i wont use images and music ripped di...

Re: Ask!
Forgive me if this has been answered before, but this forum has a huge number of posts and while i could derive entertainment from reading old ones, my modem makes some dial up connections look fast and isn't exactly reliable, so i'll just come out with it and hope it goes through: How long have Li...

As you can see from the linked post, I think fans are both great and weird.Out-All Knight wrote:How's your standing with your game's fans?

Re: The Mystery of Tanabata
You are REALLY confused here. Hisao's first day at Yamaku is in June (remember all that green in the backgrounds, no snow and half the cast whining about the summer heat?). Tanabata is celebrated in July-August. Mystery solved.

Re: Ask!
Here's a question that's probably been asked, and probably been answered, and is probably buried somewhere in the giant stack of information associated with Katawa Shoujo. Where in Japan is Yamaku supposed to be exactly? What region, I mean. I'm sure it was said somewhere, maybe even in the VN itse...

Re: Ask!
Maybe not the best place to ask, but I'll give it a shot. According to the Kickstarter page for the art book, it says that after the convention and all online orders are taken into account that you'll sell the remaining books online. Now that AX is over, any indication on how many books are left an...

Re: Ask!
Hello. I've finished playing the game now. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Here are some questions I feel compelled to ask about the production of this fascinating game. In Emi's route, if you 'misstep' while visiting her house, is there a reason she grins sadistically? This one frame seems...

Re: Ask!
Is there any persistent fan misconception about KS or the devs that you wish would (pardon the expression, Hanako fans) die in a fire? Well, we aren't generally the sort to get too bothered, but there's some things that come into mind. We used to correct the misconception that KS is a "4chan projec...

Re: Ask!
Did each of you find yourselves drifting towards one character in particular during development, as so many of us had? (This is obviously directed more at the writers than anyone else, really) Is it strange or natural to like some of your characters more than others, or do you simply love them all ...

Re: Ask!
As you just mentioned from the above post, your goal was not manipulate "feels" like Jun Maeda, which he does a pretty good job. This question might had been asked already but, when you were writing the VN what was your intended reaction to it if it wasn't for the "feels"? It follows the a similar ...

Re: Ask!
To the artists, During the time your drawing the expressions of each characters, how were you able to make them natural and applicable to their characters? I could see some small but significant details to each expressions (I think) that made me smile a bit. Also, Did you use a mirror to make those...
