Re: Ask!
Why did Hisao never tell Rin that he loves her back? Up to your own interpretation. Don't post your interpretations in this thread though. Futhermore, was Hisao made purposefully to be flawed in the sense that he can be ignorant and even a dick at times? If so, why? Of course I understand some of t...

Re: Ask!
Something that comes to mind is people thinking Rin actually requires Emi's (or someone's) help to function. The amount of stuff double arm amputees actually are completely incapable of is unbelievably small. Or taken even further, some have taken Emi's quip about them being assigned as neighbours i...

Re: Ask!
Lots of people have lots of opinions about the subject of a hypothetical sequel. I agree that there's no necessity to make one. The stories wrapped up satisfactorily. I don't want to make a sequel. That there couldn't be a sequel is a different matter. I don't think solving the problems of bridging ...

Re: Ask!
There are two levels to this. I haven't felt any difficulty mentally moving on from KS to work on something else or doing other stuff. It was very easy for me to mentally wrap KS up once it was released, and I've not felt a burning need for instance to go back to "fix stuff" or make anything else de...

Re: Ask!
It was pretty obvious that Lelouch in class 3-3 was a Code Geass cameo, but was the girl sitting behind him in class also named after a CG character or was it just a coincidence? No. Is there a character named Naomi in geass? edit: wow, googled it and even the last names match. But yeah, it's a coi...

It's pretty much given that there exists some combination of conditions that would convince us that making KS2 is a better idea than anything else we might want to spend our time on. It's pretty hard to even speculate what those conditions might be, so I'm not even going to try.

Re: Ask!
EDIT: More in the spirit of the thread, I just realized something that I probably should have a long time ago. Hisao's room number is well-known to be 119. Just today I put together that, in Japan, if you're calling for an emergency, you dial 1-1-9 (whereas in the US it's 911). That's intentional, ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Achievements
If we actually made achievements in KS (or other VNs), there would be only one:
You're not illiterate
Finished the novel

Re: How would you feel about being able to change Hisao's na
So different that some people (though not me) would argue that visual novels aren't really video games. The pure form of visual novel (like KS) definitely isn't a game. You can approach them with a game-like mindset and attach some basic concepts like winning and losing to VNs, but that goes for a ...

Re: How would you feel about being able to change Hisao's na
A nameable protagonist makes sense in stuff like dating sims or rpgs, not in (visual) novels. Aren't most Visual Novels Dating Sims though? Also, people would likely just name the protag something stupid (I've often done "Master" just because it's funny  ) No. Most visual novels are not ...

I'm not an expert on phpBB, but pretty sure it's caused by deleted accounts. The ids are a running integer, but the count of members is only the actually existing accounts.

Re: Ask!
It's just a detail about the setting that has no bearing to the story: Yamaku isn't that big of a school, and people with mental disabilities require different educational methods than those without. Yamaku isn't a kitchen sink of defective children, it's a specialized institution designed to accomm...
