Re: Blooper Reel
It is exactly as you say, Mr Shine, to my understanding. And by watermark I mean a mark that labels the spoofs as non-official art, such as the ones Snicket and Ernest have put in the upper right corners of their pics. The rules already clearly state that breaking our licence is forbidden, but I'd r...

Re: This has been driving me crazy...
The entire point of IPA is that they are universal and everyone can (potentially) pronounce them. If you say "pronounce it like kah-tah-wah", people whose native language is not english and even people speaking various dialects of English will not pronounce it like you'd think. That's why it's not a...

Re: Blooper Reel
This seems like a good time to remind everyone that these shops are explicitely against the KS licence, but posting them on this forum is allowed as long as they are *clearly* watermarked. Linking any method or source for extracted assets results in immediate ban.

the w and vowels are the hard part for native english speakers (I think), and yes each mora has equal stress, no accents anywhere.

Re: Blooper Reel
He would be the little stormtrooper that could. There are not many open mysteries in Act 1, so naturally the people speculating have a hard time coming up with even the right questions to ask, not to say anything about answers. The most debated and arguably only real question is Misha's disability, ...

Re: Would you date a girl/guy with a physical disability?
Actually, I modeled Rin's physical abilities after several real people. Nothing she does is unrealistic, and the "How does Rin do X? A: Emi" joke isn't as big deal in their "real life" as you'd think. Obviously she can't do everything without opposing thumbs, but armless people can be pretty amazing...

Re: Donations
I doubt the site's a very big expense, but it's something, at least. Why not give us an estimate as to how much it's cost ya since the project's beginning, then limit donations to that amount? It'd help a lot of people who probably won't get any piece of mind until they've at least given something ...

Re: Donations
Nah the logic to refuse donations comes from the fact that none of us have any (regular) expenses on working on KS, apart from the time spent. Sure, some artists have bought new tablets and a few other people have spent some cash on various random things but any donations would essentially be "profi...

Re: Made a MAD movie of Katawa Shojo.
I like this. Even though this is fan made, watching this MAD made me feel like KS was even closer to a real VN and got me thinking the opening in Kanon or the video in Clannad. I wonder if the devs will make a real opening video for KS? *edit* I do realize there is the video for the hospital scene,...

Re: KS threads on 4chan
Found what it is: Himeno of Tamahime made a few pages of KS 4koma as a "copy book" omake release for their book in Comitia88, which was about a week after Act 1 was released. So yeah, the Japanese prove their speed once again, making doujins of KS less than a week after it was released. Too bad it's...
