Re: Misha's disabillity?

Misha's last name is written 御門, "imperial gate" but yeah it's also an archaic word for the emperor of japan.

Re: How many Acts?

The number of acts is not really indicative of much, but yeah there's 4 of them per playthrough for 16 in total. Act 1 is gigantic compared to any other singular act since it's shared across paths, but it's also less than a quarter of the whole thing.

Mystery solved.

Re: Route ending title

It's sounds nicer than Akiha True End and Akiha Normal End? In conversation? Functional labeling would seem more sensible, of the only two games I recall talking the endings about, I can no longer remember what Tsukihime ending was named what, but Saya no Uta's "germination end" and "asylum end" de...

Re: Route ending title

I never really understood why the endings needed names in Tsukihime (or any game that does the same thing)

Re: What you WOULD want to happen in the story

Stuff about flow complexity and such Unfortunately, the reality of writing a VN is, in my experience, very different. Complexity and elegance are enemies to each other. I designed Act 1 and it is, well, very clumsy, even after four or howevermany iterations I've made on it. Even though you comment ...

Re: Rin's Parents.

If you think shimmie has anything to do with the "reality" of the game I can't even imagine what you think KS is actually about. Nothing is real. 30000 years in mspaint, blindfolded and both hands tied behind my back (hey that's almost like being lilly and rin at the same time)

Re: Misha's Future?

No it actually is exactly the way you do this. Not everything, even somewhat plausible things, can be a scenario. A VN is a story first and foremost.

Nope. You got at least three different people in "weee's" list. Also blindly putting all composers under our composer was a wrong move.

Re: In the Case of Emi Ibarazaki

However, the picture in the blog post proves that she was indeed cleaned up, though the jagged edges from resizing may draw attention away from that. The one feature that proves it is the change in her eyelashes, which are now solid rather than sketchy. Spoilers: the Spin video does not use the cle...

Re: The Thread Thread: Questions about alternate outfits, etc.

Rin uses a sort of flip-flop sandals normally. Easy and fast to take off and put on. She also can (and does) put on a normal bra by herself but tends to wear camisoles more often.
