Question:
Since this archive renders the need for compilation threads rather moot, may regular forum members link to this archive in their signatures? The five link limit in the sig has finally caught up with me.

Re: Hisao and Kenji-Concrete Jungle Updated 10/17
“A flicker of flame went up through the rising steam, and then the Martian reeled and staggered. In another moment he was cut down, and a great body of water and steam shot high in the air….The guns of the Thunder Child sounded through the reek, going off one after the other…. She headed straight fo...

Re: Hanako/Hisao post-Yamaku fics (Updated 10/12/13)
Yeah, its pretty common, especially with people with really dark hair. Well that explains it; my hair is so dark brown most people think it's black. At least Hisao won't share my fate. I wonder if Hanako's hair would grey, or if it would just turn a duller purple, like when redhead's hair goes sand...

I want to think that Hanako, despite all her suffering, does go on to have a happy life, with someone who cares for her. If she can find someone, then maybe theres a chance, however slim, that the rest of us can too. Curse your damnable logic and its effects on my Bitter Old Man Cynicism(tm)! Grey ...

Re: You have been playing too much KS when...
That, and Emi's route actually contains the words "White Knight", and TheHiveMind made a point of getting "White Knighting is bad" across. I support Black Knighting You support wandering aimlessly as a mercenary, with no land to call your own or master to be beholden to? Actually, that sounds prett...

Re: Akira Pseudo-Route [Updated as of 10/10]
Anyway back to the discussion at hand. I hadn't really thought about it till you mentioned it but Hisao definitely has limited options when it comes to discussing his bedroom troubles. Regardless of who it was with, Kenji's thoughts on his experience consisted of complaining about feeling strangely...

“The little steamer was already flapping her way eastward of the big crescent of shipping, and the low Essex coast was growing blue and hazy, when a Martian appeared… to starboard, and not a hundred yards from their heeling, pitching boat, a vast iron bulk like the blade of a plough tearing through ...

Yeah, that's pretty much how I read through it in two or three days. Helped that I did that back when they were still at the beach house.Mournful3ch0 wrote: I may not have alluded to 'when I got the chance' correctly. “Sorry,” I called over my shoulder, more from nerves than anything, “but, I gotta take this...” Best. Line. Ever. In this chapter. (I try to avoid exaggeration whenever possible.) The first time I read that line, I imagined the Hunter clearing its throat, waving its hand and grumbling, "Very well.....

Re: Akira Pseudo-Route [Updated as of 10/10]
I can't help but fear for Hisao's safety when he meets Akira's father.
That's probably because I keep thinking of the Mr. Satou from fluffandcrunch's works, and his version of him reminds me of Kingpin from Spider-Man, though.
Either way, nice chapter.

Mad props for keeping at it, man.
Did I just channel a 70's stoner? Eh, I said what I said.
