Re: Bad end discussion topic
Divine away; I haven't had the opportunity to ban anyone in a long time. Seriously though, those bad ends were both written before we started writing anything "properly", so don't think they're anything more than bad fanfiction. And iirc Hisao got hit by the train, not Emi. It occured to me when I w...

Re: Beta Tester Self Portrait
I've been told the competition is over, however I will leave this here as a reminder that not all the devs are well adjusted people, nor are their friends who are able to find errors.

The guy below is one of the people that beta tested KS. He's in a competition now, so he needs you to vote for that pic by "liking" it.

Re: Katawa shoujo featured on Kotaku.
Also, am I the only one here who dislikes how much the article rags on 4channers as a whole, conflating all of them with the excesses of /b/? Speaking as an occasional wee/a/boo and fa/tg/uy? I'm pretty much over getting annoyed at people saying we are from 4chan. I didn't hear about it from 4chan....

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
I run GPU on my PC at home and CPU on about 4 machines at work (they're not very powerful, about 1500PPD between them).
I used ot run SMP on my PC here but it's not on enough to make a difference. That and my heat management wasn't up to scratch. I should really work on that.

Re: Learning Japanese.... Who is into it?
Well, for the hopeful learners. I'm taking classes for Japanese myself, and I can wholeheartedly and totally recommend my textbook for grammar needs. The vocabulary isn't the most comprehensive, but the grammar lessons really ease you into the, well, grammar. Here's part one: http://www.amazon.com/...

Re: Learning Japanese.... Who is into it?
Most Japanese classes start with the polite forms for a couple of reasons. 1) It's easy to conjugate tense in the polite form 2) When you're speaking to a shop attendant/train guard/etc (as you most likely will if you go to Japan) or are involved in business (as the majority of Japanese Students are...

Whilst not money-based there are a lot of memebers using Folding@Home

Here's the link to the thread about it:

Apart from that any charity that supports the less fortunate children of the world is alright by us.
