Re: KS Demo mistake? Released too early?

The one thing that I do regret is the number of people that are going to point at their forum posts in a year's time (or thereabouts) and say "Look! I told you! I worked all of this out!". There are so many ideas floating around on this forum right now that some of them are bound to be correct. I so...

Re: KS Demo mistake? Released too early?

Just something to note, we released Act 1 when we were starting to come out of a rut. I'm sure someone has a log somewhere, but we thought that releasing it would be a good boost for us. Also, we commented on the Grid 1 release, which gained us a lot of people (forgive me if I can't remember exactly...

Re: Graphic Festival

We do lack the smaller rooms needed for break-outs and conferences. A couple of people have PM'd me talking about a number of online possibilities; things that might even be possible this time around. If any of them eventuate I'll post them here. I've seen eminence as well; they are pretty funky for...

Graphic Festival

G'day all. I'm currently working on a new festival in Sydney that is aimed at the "pop culture" (read: Nerd) community. However, as I was sitting in the Production Meetings over the last few days I realised that this possibly is lacking a little bit of input from, well, the Nerd community. Sure, it'...

Re: Lilly's vs. Akira's accent?

Fortunately for you, accents seem to be a pretty common one. I mean seriously, just try to find a straight American guy who wouldn't love to get it on with a British chick. I'm your man here. British accents are nothing special for me. My family is from Manchester, and I was born in Bournemouth. Ho...

Re: Misha's disabillity?

Misha's disability is that she is actually a Drill of hair.

She also has a rather oddly-shaped tumor growing out of her, making people mistake her for some fat girl.

Re: Character "Sentences"

Chances are we just wanted to do something nice but no-one would actually do it so Delta just left his holding sentences in there.

Not that they don't work, and before anything was released they didn't seem cheesy at all.

Re: DVD cover

I'm really just going to stick a spool of whatever media is around onto the DVDMAKERBOT, plug in some generic B+W image and go from there.

Yes, I would love to see a nice, shiny DVD-in-a-box version of KS but... damn. I don't even have that.
I have M:\Katawa Shoujou\Trunk\

That's kinda sad.

Re: Katawa Shoujo Panel at the Manifest Anime Convention

If someone is going to eBay our stuff I'd like to see it up there before I get back to Sydney.

Also I'm going to try and make some DVDs with V3 on it to try to conver the masses. Let's face it, they're not going to convert themselves.

Re: Pronunciation of names?

It depends on how much you are supposed to know. If you speak a little and are obviosuly a tourist then it is "cute" for you to hav ea little bit of an accent. Then you get to the point where you start making sense and they laugh because they are elitist and think that no-one else can do their langu...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Panel at the Manifest Anime Convention

As Cemex mentioned before we intend to record the panel so that we can post it on the blog somehow.

Due to the above commens about internet e-stalking etc it will probably just be audio, but there you go.
