Re: Map of the novel
Maybe something like this? There are a couple of fails in this. The "Hill" is actually the road leading into Shirakawa-go. Some of you may be more familiar with its Anime name; Hinamizawa. The garden bench is in Kyoto, and there were some shots (at least I think they are still there) from Sendai ci...

Re: Ask!
As anyone now knows, Yamaku is a school for people with physical defects and not mental/psychological ones. However Kenji appears to be more than a little paranoid and possibly schizophrenic as well. Does this mean that he actually cheated the system, as he often brags about? Yes. He's smart enough...

Re: Hanako's Bad Ending
A little question for you, Crud. I'm not saying tell me what you believe would be canon in your mind and such, but just kind of answer based on what you think would happen. Let's say that after high school, per usual, a relationship between Hanako and most of her friends ends simply because of movi...

Re: Hanako's Bad Ending
cpl_crud I always wanted to ask (but haven't in the ASK! thread) was Hanako based on someone or a combination of some real people from your life? (not the scarring but the personality and such) Actually, not really. At the time I tried to make her similar to a few people I knew, but nothing really ...

Re: Hanako's Bad Ending
I'm kinda glad that the bad ending has created this kind of discussion. I'm saying that I agree with anyone here, but it's good that people are paying attention to things. To be honest, both Hanako and Hisao are in the wrong in the Bad End. As most of you have noted, Hisao's heavy-handedness of the ...

Re: Run
This was a really cool story. It kind of reminded me of The Bourne books mixed with a little bit of some anime I watched once with this pink haired girl and lots of blood. I wish there was more! Yeah I think I might pick this up again on my blog. Really enjoyed this and noticed you posted it on you...

As far as I know, none directly, but there have been a heap of volunteers that have paid for web hosting, domain names, and, of course, all of our time.sneakysmooth wrote:How much money went into the production of the game?

Hopefully not like the box in Se7en.

This is why I love forums.Oddball wrote:It's "Mischa" in the book.cpl_crud wrote:Aura wrote: Misha is named after a character in the novel Red Dragon.
It's actually "Hannibal Rising".
Misha (I actually think it is spelt differently in the novel, but I don't have it on hand) is Hannibal's sister. Things don't end well for her.

Re: Ask!
To answer the couple of Hanako questions that have popped up: - Hanako and Lilly (at least in my mind) have known each other since the beginning of High School (using the American definition here) so that is about 3 years. - As for Hanako consenting to sex, I think the guy who stated that people wit...

This question is for cpl_crud Have you read (at least, made aware of) Brogurt's fanfic Mendacium? Short summary: Post Good End Hanako cheats on Hisao What are your thoughts on that? Honesty I haven't, but I will put it on my reading list. If you look up the interview I did with Shintai123 on YouTub...

Re: Ask!
'nother question from going over the script with a fine-toothed comb: In his first conversation with Lilly, it's implied (rather heavily) that Hisao's previous school had mandatory club membership. Was there any discussion on what club he used to belong to? I'm pretty sure it says somewhere that he...
