Perhaps both? It's not like intercourse and orgasm are unrelated topics.
If you just replace "Curry" with "Rain" in her 4 things moment it works out quite well, making sense both in terms of a single thoughtstream and as a summary of the entire short story.

Re: Scattered Scenes - 'Rin's Itch' added 5/20
Perhaps a missed opportunity to use an old metaphor for orgasm as "clouds and rain"? Seems particularly appropriate for Rin for the use of rain and clouds as symbols throughout her route... as well as her soaking her pillow in such a fashion.

Re: Deus Ex: Katawa Revolution (Complete)
Did I say otherwise? An augment would be the best available artificial option. For a natural option the best would be to use a heart cloned from your own cells, but in the case of a congenital defect like Hisao's it might be just replacing one defective heart with another. You might also notice that...

Re: Deus Ex: Katawa Revolution (Complete)
I, personally, would rather not take drugs of any kind. If someone decides the benefits of mentally controlling one's hearts functions (as opposed to have a computer do it, which would probabaly do a better job at it) justify a lifelong addiction to drugs, that is their decision. Of course there wo...

Yep, gotta get all the expected preliminaries out of the way. Will be nice to see the story get truely started though.

Re: Griffon8's Writing Center | New: Questions With And With
That last Rin one seemed rather 'meh' but the Lily one was definately a nice addition to the canon story. I agree, that really didn't sit well with me at all in the game as it gives the impression that she's motivated more by pity than love.

Re: Deus Ex: Katawa Revolution (Part 5 Posted)
I clarify my earlier statement to "in any conscious way". Yes, the heart is a muscle and as such receives impulses from the brain. However you do not need to consciously control these impulses, so any regulation can be done by a computer. We do have working artificial hearts today. We do not have w...

Nice wall of judgmental psychobabble and all, but... the future refused to change. (insert Lavos noise here) 'True selves' and 'souls' don't exist, nor is a philosophy made more or less relevant by the effort required to uphold it. You're right in saying Hisao and Rika should do what they want, but ...

Waiting for the inevitable turnabout... guy's showers being worked on and some of the girls displaying far less sensitivity while Hisao uses their facilities.

What Do I Have To Do by Stabbing Westward is IMHO pretty much the perfect soundtrack for the more frustrating aspects of Rin's route.
Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode seems fitting for Shizune as well, and not just in a smartass sort of way.

...except it's practically outright stated at the end of Rin's arc that Hisao is still fairly far away from truly understanding Rin. I think you might want to reread her good ending again. Agreed. I actually prefer the brutal neutral ending for Rin because Hisao just doesn't get her. Of course nobo...

Another fine addition to a charming story!
I'm a bit disappointed in Hisao though. First he misses an obvious opportunity to share his affliction, then he doesn't walk with her to her room or at least the girls' dorm's front door? For shame, sir.

I think I'd go with something by The Birthday Massacre... Kill the Lights perhaps?Rikabro wrote:It is precisely the kind of thing I care about. I've actually thought a lot about what her theme song would be, myself.
