Re: Akira Pseudo-Route [Updated as of 5/3]

One conflict down, one major one to go. Solid work. You're assuming this story will have a somewhat happy ending. Well I guess it'd resolve it all the same. :) A conflict being resolved doesn't always mean that it ends happily. Hold on, let me solve this conflict with violence and a smile.

Re: Akira Pseudo-Route [Updated as of 4/23]

While I massage my now twisted arm (damned 5AM CrossFit routines), allow me to make BttF references and other notes. Then I'll go back to playing Tomb Raider. Despite the amount of work I’ve had to do, today has not been a very heavy day. There's that word again, "heavy". “Thinking about it now, I s...

Re: Akira Pseudo-Route [Updated as of 4/23]

I'm inclined to agree as well. Without any other subjects stated in the sentence, it is implied that all clauses refer to Lilly. To say "despite it only being seven" or "despite only being seven o'clock" removes that ambiguity. It's not a matter of "dialects". Perhaps it may be appropriate as a spo...

Re: Akira Pseudo-Route [Updated as of 4/23]

In what dialect can you imply a different subject from the one explicitly stated in the sentence? The following sentence would work too, yes? Although seven, Lilly's happy. All I've done is removed a few unnecessary words and made a few grammatically equivalent substitutions. By your logic, it's equ...

Re: Akira Pseudo-Route [Updated as of 4/23]

Hisao is talking about the time there (Lilly had already changed into pyjamas, even though it's only seven in the evening), but I think an it is needed between despite and only. I know. "It" is the missing word I referenced. Actually, it works both ways. In this case, "it" is an additional word tha...

Re: Akira Pseudo-Route [Updated as of 4/1]

Whatever could you be talking about? But seriously, I am so glad I got off that idea of Akira's boyfriend being a narcissistic motorcycle-riding asshole. Now he's just a pseudo-asshole who is hinted to ride motorcycles. Much better, right? http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mb2fo0882r1rhwuklo1_500.j...

Re: Akira Pseudo-Route [Updated as of 4/1]

It's very thought-provoking to think where you would've taken the story had the earlier (and rather sudden) "break-up" actually gone through. Original plan was to have Akira and Tetsuo in a constantly fluctuating state of broken up/attempting to get back together with each fluctuation occurring whe...

Man, those hyphens aren't cutting Hisao any breaks. It's incredible rude of them to do tha- HEY WAIT A MINUTE! EDIT: Oh, just a cat. Carry on. Anyway, I like how the story is going, to a degree. I've actually been in a situation in which a girl I liked already had a boyfriend, who was neglectful of ...

Re: Akira Pseudo-Route [Updated as of 3/2]

Adding to previously established conversations, a new Type-Moon VN has one "route" and no choices along the way; it simply develops over time, maintaining a safe-for-work, unique presentation about a character from Tsukihime. Point is, as was previously said, you don't have to focus on multiple choi...
