Re: What Genre/Kind of music do the Girls listen to?
Lilly: Prototype Lilly played cello, violin, and a bit of piano. While i didn't make it into the final game, I can see those tastes carrying over. She likes nice soft classical stuff. Although she also has a wild side so she might have some jazz or bebop CDs, but she'll claim those are Akira's if a...

Re: What Genre/Kind of music do the Girls listen to?
Hanako would listen to whatever her parents listened to when she was a child, actually. It is implied pretty heavily through Shizune's route that Hanako's affinity for chess (one of her favorite pastimes) is not actually due to a love of the game itself, but rather because she has fond memories of i...

Re: Should I go for 100%?
Honestly, Hanako's bad endings are probably the least bad of all of the bad endings. Both of them are actually pretty salvageable.Paddy wrote:So that really leaves you only one: Hanako's.
Stomach it, soldier. It's only a few minutes of pain.

Re: Is it just me, or is Hanako better off... [Hanako Spoile
So... perhaps the authors never thought their sex at that stage was a good idea to begin with? I always kinda felt that sex scene was kind of thrown in just so Hanako would have a sex scene. It just didn't match up with their relationship at the time. It seemed out of place for a good ending. This ...

Re: Which relationship do you think will last?
I'm so tired of people using the term "Mary Sue" to describe Lilly. Even if Lilly were perfect (which she's not; she's just as flawed as the other characters, in her own ways), "Mary Sue" has very specific connotations beyond perfection that do not apply to her whatsoever. I think anyone who uses th...

Re: Which relationship do you think will last?
I voted for Lilly, because honestly, how can you not? The route has an optimistic epilogue, for goodness sake! That being said, I agree that Hisao and Rin have a better chance to stay together than Rin's 0 votes in the poll would indicate. Shizune and Hisao obviously don't stay together (they're bar...

Comments by raemz on the Kickstarter page:

raemz wrote: Kinda annoyed at the obtuse number since I had planned to set aside 500 books exactly for Kickstarter pledgers, but oh well.

Re: Upcoming Katawa Shoujo Anime Expo Artbook
Exactly. Especially since it's a Kickstarter project; the basic idea of Kickstarter is that you give yourself a more comfortable profit margin than a traditional direct sales model, because the fundamental goal is fundraising.encrypted12345 wrote:They wouldn't charge $20 an artbook if they couldn't pay for it.

Re: Upcoming Katawa Shoujo Anime Expo Artbook
I managed to get one of the $30 rewards, but I'm slightly worried about the whole "-3 of 20 remaining" thing. Any word on how this is going to be handled yet? The artists seem like pretty cool guys; I would highly suspect that if the "-3 of 20 remaining" legitimately means there are now 23 people a...

Re: Remove Adult Content?
I ran into the same problem myself. Our computer is in the lounge and I was playing Hanako's route and I could understand where it was heading so I turned Adult Content off (my mum was in the room) and then just to be sure when my mum left the room for a couple minutes I skipped to make sure there ...

Re: Upcoming Katawa Shoujo Anime Expo Artbook
Looks like the additional $30 rewards sold out with baffling rapidity. I had a script set up to refresh my browser every 5 seconds, and I don't think it got through more than 2 refreshes before all 10 were gone. Unfortunately, I was not fast enough to snag on of those 10 :( I'm amazed you saw anyth...

Re: Remove Adult Content?
Well first, I agree with you on the surface; I was a little surprised that the "Disable adult content" option does not remove some instances of topless sprites appearing. The manner in which adult content scenes are skipped is pretty silly too (with the chinchillas and grilled vegetables and such). ...

As I said in another thread: she's not autistic. And you don't need to be autistic to understand her, you just need to be very patient.megiddo wrote:So to sum up this thread:

Re: Kenji and Hisao
Eh, I don't think Hisao would stay in contact with Kenji after graduation in any route. But, they definitely have the best relationship in Shizune's route. Kenji even supports Hisao with his troubles over Iwanako's letter, admits that not all women are feminists, and eventually accepts Hisao's relat...
