Re: You have been playing too much KS when...
... after finishing your favorite route you tend to mull it over for days thinking of what you would do differently if you were the main character More like thinking about how dumb the character is and the millions of way in which he could have not fucked it up as much as he did haha. I have a feel...

Re: Super Smash Shoujo!
Not too shabby. I did something similar myself (although I don't have any pictures to show.) For me, I made Lilly and Hanako both swordfighters in defaulkt outfits. Hanako in pink and Lilly in orange. I used the same outfit you did for Emi, except mine is bright green. Kenji was a gunner in the gree...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
Sure, it affects the people around her and this in turn affects her, but the scarring doesn't directly affect her, if that makes sense. It doesn't seem to make her stiff or overly sensitive, y'know? It definitely seems to have a bigger impact on the people around her, than on herself. Effecting peo...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
Significant disfigurement is considered a disability.I'd argue the only exception to Yamaku's "Physical Disabilities Only" rule is Hanako, but that's down to the fact that they had literally no better option for her.

Re: The problem with Shizune
My take on that was Misha didn't know what she was talking about, or couldn't be bothered with the details. Shizune's the one who does the work and she seems serious about it. And no, she doesn't falsify any financial reports, nor does she (technically, at the very least) play fast and loose with t...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
Yuuko got her job at Yamaku because the person in charge of hiring mistook her incompetence for a go-getter attitude. The Hiring manager was impressed that she actually walked into his office and asked about a job. She actually just didn't know that there was supposed to be a more thorough applicati...

Re: The problem with Shizune
I think that's one of her internal conflicts. She actually bends the rules because she's in love with Hisao. I can't say I agree on that. That might be why she bends some of the rules, but they apparently cut classes and sent in reports of stuff they just made up before Hisao even transferred. She'...

Re: The problem with Shizune
I've always found it funny how Shizune criticizes Lilly for putting everything aside to help people then says she wants to be a philanthropist. I think Shizune would say that if being a philanthropist is your 'everything' then that's not a problem. I'm sure she would. I just wonder what kind of phi...

Re: The problem with Shizune
Student Councils, as I understand, are a sort of mock government for the student body. Using that analogy, Lilly ignoring Student Council duties to focus on the concerns of her friends would be like JFK ignoring an urgent call about the Cuban Missile Crisis because he's attending his daughter's bal...

Re: Greater Than The Sum (Finished!) - All days now up: 11/4
I think what I really enjoyed most about this was now not connected to the rest of Katawa Shoujo it was. It was it's own story with only minor cameos from the main cast (and frankly, most of them came across as the weaker points in your story). At the same time, it still felt like something that cou...

That was a mixed bag. The first was unbelivably sweet.
The second unbelievably stupid. … and too long.

Well this feels incredibly... Japanese. Too Japanese. I understand what you're trying to do, but you have to remember that the majority of your audience is neither Japanese nor well versed in Japanese speech. You're writing in English and this just isn't how people talk in English. This whole thing ...

Re: Direction (post Rin neutral ending)(complete)
Lovely piece of work here. I think what I'm impressed most by isn't the characters or plot, but the way you captured the mood of Rin's route. In the game it felt the darkest and most depressing and this managed to keep things along a similar line, with Hisao taking the longest to really get out of h...
