Re: So Fellow KS - Forums Users, How Does KS Motivate You?
How does KS motivate me? I'm doing it for the girls, that's for sure. It was really more of a case that it shined some light on some issues I've had and made me reevaluate them. How do I remind myself about it? I still do fanworks and visit the forum. Does replaying the game dull the experience? To ...

Okay. That makes sense. I can see how the anticipation that something bad is going to happen can get to you.

Re: You have been playing too much KS when...
I think this may be the first time I've ever seen "start adjusting glasses like Shizune" listed as a way KS has changed people.
Oh well. I suppose there are worse habits you could pick up from her.

Re: COM(promise) - A Miki Route (Updated Sep 5th, 2017)
This was really well written and I'm glad I found it. I like the Bad Ending as well, it didn't depress me like a lot of them tend to do, but I like how it's A) Hisao breaking up and B) fixable, in that the relationship could be repaired (unlikely, but possible). That makes it fairly unique from wha...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (20180507 'Reliable Narrators')
I just accepted that the character was a bit eccentric. I didn't think there was anything to "figure out" about her.
Although if I had written my chapter after brythain's, I would have had Orie refer to her as "the living cliche."

Why do sad songs make you scared? Shouldn't they make you sad?

There was a slight hiccup where I posted something that I had already posted before, but we're back on track. https://i.imgur.com/sGUCaOc.png Reliable Narrators by Oddball, Brythain, Blank Mage, Umber. Chapters by Munchenhausen and Strange Desire where planned but never materialized. Since they've b...

Re: What If Katawa Shoujo Never Existed?
KS really got me back into writing and doing art. I hadn't done much of either for ... well, a long time before getting into the game.
As for why it didn't affect you, who knows. I hit me hard and I'm no stranger to other VN or emotional writing.

Yamaku Book Club (Nomiya POV)
https://i.imgur.com/sGUCaOc.png Nomiya POV by spirizu Time to take a look at a wonderful little one-shot that does a lot to humanize and add depth to one of the least liked characters in Katawa Shoujo. Personally, I never hated him as much as many people do. he lost his temper once, sure, but other...

Re: Operation Normal Social Interaction
I think the title really catches how she sees the matter, It's wonderful how everything goes wrong by Madam Class President's way of thinking but is accomplishing what she wanted and she does not realize it. I think you nailed it there. That's exactly what I was going for. She got what she wanted, ...

Operation Normal Social Interaction
Operation: Normal Social Interaction One of the problems with being deaf is the inability to properly socialize. One can't engage in small talk without an interpreter, and when using one, it comes across more along the lines of bragging than merely sharing similar points or preferences. There are, h...
