Re: A Day In the Life

Fixed a good deal of errors. I didn't agree with everything you considered an error though. Is that... a thing? In what country? Japan. Is that what the cool kids use for "naturally" nowadays? It's a bit dated slang but I felt it fit the character. Count as in be meaningful, or literally 1 to 10? En...

A Day In the Life

A Day in the Life There's a certain point where you're not really asleep anymore, yet not yet awake. At that point, you realize you're dreaming and can steer it the way you want, but the problem is, once you know it's a dream you've already started to forget the good parts. Such is life. Does that ...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Double feature!)

https://i.imgur.com/sGUCaOc.png Just because I feel like it, this item we take a look at TWO stories. https://i.imgur.com/sGUCaOc.png That's right! Two stories fro the price of none! What a bargain! Actually they're both really short and I didn't think they needed a Club meeting each. Heartbreak (A...

Re: Innumerable Fits — Naomi Pseudo Route [11/25/17]

I'm with Crafty on this one. Her personality does seem like she's faking it or forcing it at a times. Maybe she is just really really cheerful, but it seems a bit unnatural and you'd think somebody would have commented on it one way or another. With that said, I do like how the story is moving along...

Re: Shizune's "Good" Ending -- Sad or Happy?

The problem there is Emi would have never wanted to talk about it and was willing to end the relationship rather than having to face her own issues, and these had been issues for her for years.

Re: Shizune's "Good" Ending -- Sad or Happy?

She is pretty straight forward with what she wants and what she doesn't. She doesn't let any of her personal problems interfere with their time together and when she does open up she does it in a fairly healthy way. The few times that she does get pissed, she regrets her behavior and becomes apolog...

Re: Inkyukasu - A KS Supernatural/Horror Fic

It's an interesting start, but it could use some work. You start a lot of your sentences with Lilly's name. You may want to mix that up a bit to prevent it from becoming repetitive. The little demon-guy also seemed a bit too on the nose with his criticisms of Lilly. Even if he's going to be direct, ...

Re: Shizune's "Good" Ending -- Sad or Happy?

Especially when her boyfriend is as boring as Hisao. So it's not just me who thinks that Hisao is the most clueless and immature character in the game? If I were a girl, I'd never fall for him. But I might just be a bit jealous XD Most clueless? Did you forget Kenji is in the game? Most immature? I...

I find it hard to believe that you'll find anyone quite like Hideaki.

Re: Shizune's "Good" Ending -- Sad or Happy?

So as I explored the 'why not so great' question, I started writing from her perspective more, and also from those of her family members. I became more and more certain that Jigoro and Hideaki, while being just a little peculiar, were also hamming it up in the Japanese tradition of hazing the new p...

Re: Shizune's "Good" Ending -- Sad or Happy?

Her dad never bothered learning sign language cause he could afford a interpretor, something that angered her as she grew older. He was and still is too full of himself to realize his error and she's too stubborn to tell him through a note. Shizune is very much her father's daughter. You will talk ...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (20180611 'Lost Opportunities')

Also given the release date, I was a bit surprised that it actually "spoils" a major "plot twist" of the Emi arc, though it really is only a plot twist if you're as dense as Hisao
Given when it was written and Hivemind's comment, I'm not sure Cook knew he was spoiling anything.

Re: Shizune's "Good" Ending -- Sad or Happy?

I think Shizune's good ending is the best place to finish playing the game. They do a great job of capturing the graduation feeling and saying goodbye to all these great people you've met along the way and wishing you ahd more time with them. From the relationship status though, it does paint a more...
