Re: Katawa Shoujo for Rimworld

That was a nice fun read, although the fact that you only used nicknames was a bit distracting in places.

Re: Steam now allows the sale of adult only games on their store, the only hurdle to releasing your VN there has disappea

KS is already out there and it's free. Putting it somewhere else where there's a fee for it just doesn't make any kind of real sense. It's also been around long enough by now that anyone who would be interested in it has probably already heard of it and the devs have nothing else planned as a group ...

A silly question for Aura, if he finds the time:

It's pretty much accepted "fanon" at this point that the blonde girl in the background of this classroom CG is Saki. But if you had to give a name to the girl at the door, what would it be? Thanks.
The Shimmie lists her as "Chiharu".

Re: quick question

Quick question about Iwanako does she have a cannon last name, or a accept last name You may want to read this http://katawashoujo.blogspot.com/2009/09/behind-name.html No last name was ever given. No that note and to reference what the link said, Her last name is annoying, because it's not a "real...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Adventures of Sherlock Hisao)

https://i.imgur.com/sGUCaOc.png This time we look at a story where Hisao and Kenji are master detectives. No, no that one. This one. The Adventures of Sherlock Hisao! by Rocket Royal It falls heavily into the "zany humor" category and and demolishes the fourth wall on a regular basis. Personally, i...

I should do my part to try and keep this place alive too. Having nobody else to talk to about this game every now and then would be quite depressing.
Start some topics, people will jump in. ... Well, at least i will. Probably. Most likely Mirage too. I don't guarantee anything else.

Re: Yet another one-shot thread

The interaction between Miki and Rin was just gold. The Naomi and Natsume stuff... it felt off. The two of them talked like they were the same person with the same ideas and personality. Likewise, while I can see how they might feel the need to have an intervention with Hisao, they really seemed for...

It might not be as lively as it used to be, but it's no where near dead yet.

Still, would you believe me if I told you this story was an improvement over the first story that author published here?
Was this the author that did several "Hanako's long lost something or other" stories or am I remembering things wrong?

Re: Souls of Clay and Fire [Chapter 2 Added 23 July 2018]

I've attached the story itself as a Word document instead of uploading directly to the forum because there are a few things I'll be doing with the formatting that simply don't work with the way these forums are. It won't affect this chapter, but it will be vital for the story to work going forwards...

Admittedly, it's been a long time since I've read it myself, but I don't remember it being much different than it is now. No idea what changes they may have made.

https://i.imgur.com/sGUCaOc.png This time on the bookclub we look at a very special story, special to me anyway. This is the very first Katawa Shoujo fanfic that I ever read. Gamble of Life by CosmicGhost. It's not very good. None of the characters really behave like actual people. What should be s...
