Re: What Lies Beneath: Updated 4/30/12 Chapter 4 now up
"We met in highschool a few months after you acceppted my confession." ... Something about this sentence sounds wrong... That line threw me at first until I kept reading. I suppose it kind of makes sense, if he didn't meet Hanako until months after his confession to Iwanako , but it doesn't quite j...

Re: An odd revelation
Well, you have to admit, she's never once gave Hisao verbal consent to have sex with her.Megumeru wrote:...are we going for another debate here? I'll crack my fingers to be readyOddball wrote: That would just really suck for Shizune.

Re: An odd revelation
So enlighten me. How does that apply here? What makes Hisao's reaction different from what yours would have been based on culture your cultures?Feeling bad isn't something that applies to a single culture, correct, but the reasons behind it can differ.

Re: An odd revelation
I think that the idea or the policy that consent must be voiced verbally at every step to be valid is simply wrong headed. That would just really suck for Shizune. And if you don't see where Japanese morals/culture come into play then you don't have any idea how different cultures can color the per...

I had to look it up in order to find out that Lilly even HAD a route. All the choices seemed to lead you to Hanako.

Re: Alot like Kana ??
If I misjudged you I appologize. In the past, I've dealt with far too many people that tend to see the worse in everything without every noticing any of the good.
I still don't agree that it's more "honest", but we've all got our own tastes.

So your basically one of those "life sucks, the world is horrible, and the glass is half empty" types. That's not more honest than seeing things the other way. It's just more depressing.rydiafan wrote: ... all the bad endings where much better because they felt more open and honest

Can't say I can argue with that one.Mirrormn wrote:In fact, reality tends to fall in the middle most of the time, which usually makes it too boring for an interesting VNOddball wrote: Seems to me neither one is more honest than the other. Pessimistic does not automatically equal realistic.

So, when are we going to get more of this? I really think your later chapters show improvement over the earlier ones.

Re: An odd revelation
I don't call it rape either but if I was in Hisao's situation I wouldn't feel good about it if I found out she was having the sex because she thought that was the way to tie me to her (partially because it wouldn't be but my moral compass is another reason). I'd rather have sex when she's intereste...

That's what i choose. I read that as "I'm going to try to do a bit more exercise, but I don't promise anything."darkrei wrote:I'm a bit surprised how everyone seems to get emi as their first route...
am I the only one that was like "euh...maybe not!" when the nurse told me to exercise more?

Re: Alot like Kana ??
I just finished one possible path through Kana - Little Sister. It had its moments. I feel a bit drained right now. The ending hurts. Its definitely emotional, and it does not leave you on a high note like KS does if you get a good ending. With a good ending KS will kill you, then bring you up agai...

Re: Selecting a path without a walkthrough...
Oh come on. Don't use a walkthrough until you've got at least one ending with each of the girls. Not knowing where your choices lead is all part of the fun.
