Re: Thoughts on the H-scenes?
You know that's actually been a recurring problem with me, trying to explain that an item that gives one impression is in reality completely different and worth checking out. Sort of a negative world example of Katawa Shoujo is the third person shooter Spec Ops: The Line which is advertised like on...

Re: Sisterhood (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)
Hanako may have felt relatively comfortable around Lilly, Hisao and Akira and she may have genuinely enjoyed the attention that night, but it later turns out she wasn't completely sure how real their affection for her was. (that's her whole beef with the birthday thing...just because people are nic...

Re: Tips for fanfiction writers (that means YOU)
This is script fic. Misha: Hi, I'm Misha. Don't do this. This is better. "Hi, I'm Misha," said Misha. But we can still do better than that. Let's toss in a simple adverb to describe HOW the character is saying something. "Hi, I'm Misha," said Misha happily. Now you not only have the character and th...

Re: Fanfic - KS Afterstory: Lilly Edition
Well, let's give you just a real quick starter. This is what you did. Misha: Hi, I'm Misha. Don't do that. This is better. "Hi, I'm Misha," said Misha. But we can still do better than that. Let's toss in a simple adverb to describe HOW the character is saying something. "Hi, I'm Misha," said Misha h...

Interesting...
It's not often that you get to see a story where Hisao comes across as less mentaly sound than kenji usually does.
He seems to go from dangerously unstable and manipulative to hopelessly over dramatic.

Re: Thoughts on the H-scenes?
How exactly are you describing the game that gives them the impression it's just a "have sex with crippled girls" game? When I describe it, I refer to it as a romance story set in a school for the disabled. I may mention that "yeah, it has a little bit of nudity in it" if I'm pushed, but I certainly...

Re: Katawa Ball Z Kai condensed
My thoughts. In order. Katawa Ball Z Kai condensed Hmm... should I be worried, or is this going to be some kind of brilliant parody? This is what happens when you're sleep deprived and you've finally snapped because what you write is poorly received anyway; Oh no. This is either going to be a "woe i...

Re: Red Fish Blue Fish
While I appreciate the advice, that just isn't the story I wanted to tell. That's a bit too neat and a bit too obvious.

Re: Breaking Hearts (Breaking Bad Crossover)
Also I am aware that some things contradict canon in both works... That's calling the ocean wet. Why did you make it a crossover in the first place if you keep nothing but the names? Well I could call it a parody, but it doesn't seem to fit. Okay. Then the next question would be, what actually make...

Re: Weird situation you'd put the girls into
That is... a slippery slope. Oh...that's bad then... :( ...how slippery? Do you carry inane shit, e.g. duct tape, in your authentic military backpack at all times? The authentic military version of duct tape is called "hundred mile an hour tape" (No. I don't know why it's called that) and an ...

Re: Red Fish Blue Fish
Out of all the places I've ever posted fanfic, I think I like this forum the best. There's actual discussion abut what certain things mean. I have to admit,I love the way some of you take certain things. Now while I could clarify what I meant, I think it can be more interesting not to just to see wh...

Re: So I've finished Shizune's story
eh, i dont even know anymore. i know that some route someone left halfway through it, wasn't sure which one. but still, why did the drills have to go. Two words: cultural reference. It is a tradition in Japan concerning unrequited love. It's like a declaration saying 'hey, I've moved on from my pas...

Red Fish Blue Fish
If there was one thing Lilly had a lot of, it was books. Her parents constantly added to her collection with books in both English and Japanese. Books were very important to her. Reading was the hobby for the educated lady. Her mother told her that. Now, Lilly wasn't quite sure how reading worked ye...
