Re: The great fan fiction archive
Is the assumption of Shizune's mother's death warranted? If I'm remembering correctly, there's simply no mention of her at all, beyond being Lilly's father's sister. Most people assume that. The common assumption is either that, or Jigoro and Mayoi (Shizune's mother's name) are divorced. 'sall up t...

Re: The great fan fiction archive
I remember reading a story where Shizune was secretly in love with Lilly and when Shizune finally told Misha she was gay, Misha just laughed and said something like, "as long as you're not trying to flirt with me, we're fine." I've also seen a few where Hanako's mother was still alive and had remarr...

Re: I failed Rin?!
I'm not going to tell you what to do right because that takes the sense of accomplishment put of it when you do succeed, but when you make a mistake, you need to go back over your choices and think about what they mean, not just from your own point of view, but from hers. I'll give you this hint tho...

Re: Freaks and Friends
Thanks for the comment. I'm still tickled to see how people respond to Time Warp. As for Emi, Like I said there, she and Hachisame don't get along so it kinda of bleeds through when dealing with Hachisame's friends. You'll find out a bit more why later on.

Re: Shizune Arc (misha, jigoro)
Seriously, All? Is this how you want to do things? My opinion doesn't count unless I write out a 5,000 word essay, otherwise I'm just trolling ? I'm being blinded and irrational because I don't agree with you? I'm trying to paint somebody as a sociopathic monster? I also believe last time you said I...

Re: Shizune Arc (misha, jigoro)
More to the point, there is a significant difference. "I want to help people," is the airy, wishy-washy platitude of someone who doesn't know what they want to do with their life. "Really you want to help people? That's overrated. I want to kneecap people and take their money." There's quite a diff...

Re: Shizune Arc (misha, jigoro)
Going to have to disagree with you again about Shizune getting a goal. She states earlier that she wanted to be Student Council president to help people then her big revelation later in the game is that she wants to grow up and help people? She really didn't change at all. She has no more of a goal ...

Re: Shizune Arc (misha, jigoro)
In some cases, intentionally and for good reason.Neither Hisao nor MIsha are trained professionals so a lot of what should be conveyed across is probably lost.

Re: Hanako & Hisao at the arcade
For one, I'd trim the hair a bit. It's a tad too long. I'd also suggest shrinking the eyes slightly and making the mouth and noise longer, as well as making the head a bit less round.Any tips how i could make Hisao look less "feminine"?

Re: Birthday gifts for the girls
i was able to tell what Hanako and Rin were thinking. heh heh. ... No you weren't. Stop lying. Rin didn't even know what Rin was thinking and Hisao and Hanako's mutual mistakes were all that made the relationship really possible. If you would have known exactly what she wanted and tried to p...

Re: Birthday gifts for the girls
I suppose I should list some suggestions as well. Lilly- See if there's some Great Scottish Novel that I can get a Braille copy of. If that doesn't work, A small CD player with a few CDs for her, assuming she doesn't already have a radio. I don't recall them mentioning it. Shizune- she likes board g...

Re: Birthday gifts for the girls
For Hanako, a baseball bat so she's ready to improve on her bad end and beat Hisao to death for being an idiot and not taking a hint. For Shizune a baseball bat so she's ready to improve on her bad end and beat HIsao to death for being an idiot and "Comforting" Misha. For Lilly a baseball bat so sh...

Re: Broken String Symphony
I have to admit I was thrown in the first chapter. Using Kenji's name, I automatically assumed it was the same guy as the game and that was a bit hard to wrap my head around. The guy also seems to have pretty good knowledge of sucking chest wounds fore a teenager. The part where he's talking about t...

Re: Freaks and Friends
I can see where you're coming from with that and to an extent I can agree with some of it, but at the same time, it's remarkable what a person can get used to when they don't have a choice.
