Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club
It's the 21st century, everyone texts now. It's how I (and most people I know) communicate with everyone my personal life except my parents, who still use voice calls. A lot of dating sites are now changing their guidelines to reflect the fact that texting is now widely accepted as a form of communi...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club
Changing jobs would have meant moving out of the city, possibly a long way, because there was nothing in her field around here.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Bought a new mountain bike today... bike store guy gave me $50 off a Raleigh Talus 2.0 because it was last year's model. Took it through the park trails on the way home. The last hill out of the ravine the park runs through just about killed me. Beginning to understand why I was so much fitter in hi...

Re: Sign Language Talk!
Linda (Bove) did so much to raise awareness about deaf-related issues, Deaf culture and the Deaf community on Sesame Street. I read an article about her role and how, for example, many older deaf people had never seen a TTY before their kids or grandkids told them about Linda using one on the show. ...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club
Thursday evening the girl I've been seeing dumped me by text (we'd planned to go out Saturday), saying she was couldn't continue dating me due to several issues in her life demanding more attention: being forced to move out of her apt, changing jobs. BS or not, it sucks because we'd had our best dat...

Re: Sign Language Talk!
I'll definently try to learn basics simply to say i can! Careful, saying you know 'a bit' might result in people thinking you're fluent. (in all seriousness, though, good on you for wanting to learn; just remember it's a big commitment so you need to be serious about it if you want to get anywhere ...

Re: Sign Language Talk!
How long do you think it'd take for me to sign simple things like "How are you" "What do you mean" "You're stupid" "You look nice" Simple things that would actually be relevant. Those are all two or three signs each (plus face grammar). "How are you?" is one of the first things you'll learn outside...

I think you mean AG Bell, Allister. He might have been a bit of a dick but the foundation which bears his name is even worse. Lifeprint (as linked) is a good place to start, I started with it during my preparations for the course. If you learn the alphabet, syntax, basic grammar and numbers before s...

Re: Why does Hisao only have a condom in 1 route? *SPOILERS*
I remember seeing once some kind of anime-stylised oral sex tutorial, and it featured the idea of the reciever putting the rolled-up johnny in their mouth and putting it on in a blowjob fashion. I doubt any living humans have tonsils dextrous enough to do the rather crucial pinching of the tip whil...

Re: Sign Language Talk!
I have been learning ASL for two years - I did some learning of my own at home with the internet and a DVD in preparation doing a full time college course in 2012. Since then I've volunteered at events, did a week at an immersion camp, and go to a social night with other sign students, teachers and ...

Few things kill the moment more effectively than having to produce, open, and put on a condom.
Munchenhausen, you have my sympathy.

Re: If it were real!
Ugh, Misha-types. I was FWBs with one, a proper relationship would never have worked because I couldn’t stand the airy-fairy, dense behaviour (and fat thighs) The Emi-type I find much better because the cheerfulness is both genuine and tempered with other emotions. I tend to feed off the energy and ...

Check out Vanessa Mae, Lindsey Stirling and... John Williams (who composed a lot of the greatest movie scores, including Star Wars)

You can't apply logic to someone's waifu, alas. Your post was absolutely superb, in my opinion.Forever_ambivalent wrote:For fictional character's like these you need to do a lot of logical speculation and thought to work out whether you would actual get into a good relationship with them.
That was a lot of rambling.
