At the very least, I found it significantly less facepalm-inducing than some of the other reviews that have come out as of late. Admittedly, the title threw me off.

I'm a little bamboozled as to how the heck Misha managed to pull that off, but I suppose she already had the fight-or-flight reactions necessary to win.

Ditto on the tenses. A lot of the events described are currently in past tense, which makes it awkward to read since the context already implies that Hisao is supposed to be describing things that happen in the present.

Definitely have to agree with what Dawnstorm said. After a while you can just instinctively match the inflection of the voices with what the subtitles say, even if you don't actually understand what is being said. You can pick up on the tone and mannerisms pretty easily, which tends to be what gives...

Not a terrible start, you've managed to vest me in the story. For some reason the Hanako Bad End always struck me as a good time for Hisao to have a heart attack. There's definitely room for improvement; I'd point out some of the specifics myself, but I'm terrible at putting my criticism into words....

My girlfriend and two of my friends are all into Doctor Who... I guess I'm out of the loop.

For what it's worth, the story was an interesting read. I suppose I can't fully appreciate it in my current state.
