Re: Am I the only one who understands Rin almost perfectly?

I was big in art in high school...so no issues for me. She reminds me of a lot of folks I knew then. LOL

Re: An overwhelming experience...

Can totally empathize. I did not date in high school so I have no reference for most of what happens making it feel very real for me. I am married now but always feel like I was missing some of that emotional base. I honestly feel I have become a better person and husband for having played. I apprec...

Re: A sad story, my story

You are impacting those around you all the time. Never forget that. Every person is important in different ways. Just by posting this, you have made a mark on people here. To quote Red Green "Remember, I'm pulling for ya. We're all in this together! " If you ever want to talk, just let me know.

Impactful Anime

So just starting watching Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad again (for the first time since starting a band) and I have to say, its the only anime I have watched that has the same kind of emotional impact that KS has had. The characters just feel very REAL and identifiable. Highly recommend it. Anyone else...

Re: Why didn't I cry?

Guess I was still in a pretty negative state after sitting on the bombshell at the Shangai all day at work. Was so distraught I had to look up the ending on my phone...

Background Characters

So have played through Lilly, Hanako and Emi. The only notable background character was Miki. Any other paths throw out a random character like this? At the same time...I kinda wish we got to know more about Miki. She's interesting from the little I have seen. Also going to end up with the bad Shizu...

Re: New guy (first timer)

First time through, I got to the point of picking Lilly or Hanako (obvious choice is OBVIOUS). I REALLY agonized over it. Ended up with Lilly. In reality, I STILL could have gone either way. Definitely married a "Lilly", though. ;)

Re: Why didn't I cry?

No, just the whole circumstances even in the good ending are so messed up. Everyone is so mixed up emotionally after everything that happened. The epilogue helps a bit, but I have a hard time not thinking Lilly stayed because she felt sorry for Hisao.

I'm more concerned that you have three feet.

Re: Why didn't I cry?

After being depressed at Lilly's ending, Hanako was a WONDERFULLY uplifting ending! Felt so much better.

Re: I can't play this "game" anymore.

For anyone that has only finished the Hanako path and can't bring themselves to do another, I'll spoil Lilly's ending (this happens in both) so you can kind of figure out where the story went after the good Hanako ending. Before Lilly is to go home to be with her family, Hanako has joined the school...
