Re: Should I finish Emi's path?

as Frederick the great said "He who defends everything defends nothing"

No need to change routes or play two or more routes at the same time.

Besides that, Emi's ending is nice.

I mean, seriously, why not? Are you just that "butt-hurt" after that scene?

Re: The future of VN's

Physics Physics really the most reliable source lol ... sense 2000 how many time was the world gonna end ?? I said Physics because its Michio Kaku expertise, and he wrote Physics of the future and theres a whole chapter about how computers will evolve. And i dont think physics has something to do w...

Re: The future of VN's

I mean Kurzweil basically predicts this occurring in the next several decades. I don't have any of his works handy, but this wiki page [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Singularity_Is_Near#Predictions] has a nice list of predictions from his 2005 update of The Age of Spiritual Machines. If his pred...

Re: The future of VN's

First things First, if you guys are interested in the subject consider reading Physics of the Future by Michio Kaku and The Age of Spiritual Machines by Ray Kurzweil, both books are about the near future, a nice read if you are into Trans-humanism or Science. If computers take over music I'm gonna b...

Re: This VN makes me sad, even after doing everything

If this is the first time you feel like this by finishing a game, man, you need to play more games, or read more books. This feeling of emptiness, longing, loss or sadness always happens when i finish some great game (like Dreamfall or Planescape Torment) or after some books (like Name of the Wind o...

Re: The Sims 3 KS "Epilouges"

The fun thing to do is to create Sims copies of all KS main characters put them on a house, then you set the time compression to the fastest setting, disable all pop ups and then you wait for 8 hours or so. You can achieve some amazing situations like this.

Re: UK edition of PC Gamer

Interesting. Notable PC Gamer alumnus John Walker absolutely hated KS when he played it on RockPaperShotgun. RPS is weird around VNs, at best. They sang the praises oh "Don't take it personally, babe" which I found to be pretty mediocre (Pisspoor art, very forced message at the end). Great site oth...

Re: What would happen if another company wanted to buy KS ri

EA someday will buy 4LS, then we will have more DLC's, at least 8 new clothes for every character, and there will be a multiplayer option. But Yamaku will be localized in west Virginia since Japan is too foreign, and the only route available will be Shizune's, the others will be day one DLC.

Re: Hisao's little bundle of joy

Correct. If life begins at conception, the pill is a potential abortifacient. That is why many Christians - Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant - oppose the pill. Legally speaking, though, life begins at implantation in the womb. So that is why contraceptives are not technically abortifacients. Scie...

Re: Just started KS... UPDATE: Complete!

Ok, Finally got around to Finishing Lilly's route over the past weekend, thus closing out the last unfinished route in KS for me. I should note that for this route I decided to put the flowchart aside, and experience the story from the beginning as "blind" as I could. (No pun intended) What a beaut...

Re: Hisao's little bundle of joy

I cant understand all the fuzz and/or bible bashing with Abortion, if we only followed a single rule: Everyone does the thing that would bring the maximum of happiness to oneself and bring less pair to others. I do believe that aborting after 6 months of pregnancy is a dickish thing to do. Fetuses d...
