Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I have come to the conclusion that knees are dumb as hell and should really have been designed better. It seems like everyone messes up their knees eventually and I dread the day I do it too.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Well, Finished Day 3 of Week 2 on Sunday. Completed 1.97 miles in the time allotted, and ran with a knee brace on my right knee where it was hurting before. Unfortunately, the pain came back. Not as sharp as before, I think because of the brace. This time though it has lasted much longer. I took th...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Great! Any questions or comments, we'll hear it gladly. Also, if you want, someone of us can send u an invite for the KS group on fitocracy as well. (though i like the discussions here more) How is the fitocracy thing going? I hate achievement game junk so I did not join up yet but because its you ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I am on a vacation visiting friends which is going to make keeping running difficult for the next week. I dont know the area to just go run outside and they do not have any treadmill or anything. Hopefully they can show me someplace like a park around here but I get the feeling it means I am going t...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

hey guys, messing around with this fitocracy thingy right now and I am having trouble finding the right machines in the lost here. There is a rowing machine in the trainign circle at my gym. It's not the kind of rowing machine where you pull a cable and move your whole body, it's other sort where y...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I'm using the Emi chart myself. I think most people in this thread are. (Wish the thread Op would just link the chart at the top though.) It should work for pretty much anyone save the morbidly obese. I'll attach the chart so you can use it. Good luck, and welcome! Done. Also this thread sure is mo...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I never in my life would have thought a game where I spend hours sitting down and clicking would get me to start getting back into shape. It's a funny world. At least form an ero-game you should expect a different kind of workout, shouldn't you? Even then, I didn't get any of that workout in this g...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I want to compare something. Does anyone have a bottle of that US HFCS Coca-Cola, somewhere handy? I wonder how calories count differs, is US coke really higher on calories. My official sponsor of UEFA Euro2012 Coke (regular one) reads: 180kJ (42 kcal) per 100ml with 10.6 g of sugar (and nothing el...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Huckleberry sarsaparilla is amazing if done right. If you go to a mountain area with lots of huckleberry in season people make a sarsaparilla soda sweetened with fresh wild huckleberrys, at least they do along the rocky mountains and yellowstone, and it is the best sweet drink I have ever had.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Corn syrup is an America thing. All non-diet pop is made with it unless you buy ones that specifically state being old timey or using real sugar. Same goes for most any sweet drink, even juice here.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Still going 5-6 days a week to the gym for elliptical or treadmill. I need to start going longer then 40 minutes on them now but I am so worn out at the time that its hard to go any longer. Although within 30 minutes I feel fine so my recovery rate is at a place I am happy with.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Dunno about you guys, but doesn't 30 mins of cardio sound a bit, short? 45 min-1 hour of cardio/exercise is a daily minimum you should be doing every day. 30 minutes is short, but I assume you are talking about the Emi chart. That chart is ment as a start up for people who have not been getting exe...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

If you do it sometime in the day I would think you need to have eaten at some point or else you wont have the energy to finish. I go right after I wake up and have a big glass of milk then eat once I get home and cleaned up. I think the fact I got some liquid and that I have not done anything else y...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Anyone knows much about joints, from perspective of having workout? Anything to look out for? I stopped having muscle pains some time ago, but for the second time I can feel my knees some. Not something to show your doctor, but still. Now I think about it, there was some snowfall lately, and I was ...
