Re: Similar games to Katawa Shoujo
Good point on Kana. I haven't played it, yet, so it slipped my mind. It's definitely high on my to-play list, though.

In addition to all that's been mentioned, I'd add Narcissu. It's free, too!

Re: Cars
What I loved about that set was the irony of some of the pairings. . . I think it would've been more fitting for Lilly to be the Heavy. Not only is she the most well endowed of the ladies, but she'll quite literally be "firing blind" or spraying and praying. Well, to maximize the "ir...

Re: Birthday!
Happy Birthday, dear Shizune! I'm glad I caught this. She'd skin me alive if I missed it, haha.

Re: Cars
What I loved about that set was the irony of some of the pairings. Shizune, being deaf, wouldn't be able to hear all the cries of "MEDIC!" and Rin would have a hard time whacking stuff with wrenches. I think it would've been more fitting for Lilly to be the Heavy. Not only is she the most ...

She's been mentioned on IRC before, but thanks for the links, anyway. Love TED talks.

Re: Favorite girl.
I guess we approach fiction differently. You're trying to put yourself in Hisao's shoes, which to an extent, is what you're supposed to do. However, I generally take a more hands-off approach to stories. I'm just a visitor in this world, watching the events play out in front of me, perhaps influence...

Re: Favorite girl.
And I do see that part of it. I also see a part of her who is looking for someone smart enough to take her on. But the manipulation part still hers to me. As competitive as someone is, there is almost no need to have that much control over a single person's life. While it is true that there are man...

Re: Favorite girl.
Shizune's an acquired taste. Personally, I love her because she's a little bossy and competitive. I'm confident enough in myself to think that I'll be able to match wits with her, as I'm fairly aggressive if someone lights my competitive fire. She's not afraid to speak her mind, even if it's blunt a...

Re: Favorite girl.
Her nature of being beyond common sense (or good and evil) and aloof from everyone else... I see what you did there  . But yeah, Rin's route impressed me because of the existentialist slant of the writing. Seeing Aura's signature mention Dostoevsky (Though it's actually Anonymous22) made me k...

Re: Favorite girl.
I agree with ChaosEngine on the Misha hate. I really like Misha because she manages to be bubbly and optimistic without being hyper and airheaded, like Emi.
