Please don't do this. Or that. ...Either of you.

Yeah this is why there's a "no dangling prospects of future writing in front of the audience" in the infamous sticky. Guess I'll have to tighten the screws one of these days.

Re: Breaking Shoujo: The Meth Route

Gotta have to disagree here. While you should indeed not be discouraged by feedback, negative or positive, 600k worth of money is a hell of a large nit to pick. It's on the level of "Lilly is not completely blind", or "Mutou is the owner of the Shanghai", or any of the other examples you can find by...

Re: Ask!

I am the main target of your question, but I have to admit that I have no particular experience or formal training in editing outside of KS  ; therefore, take anything I say with the usual grain of salt. Most of the work I did fell under "standard" editorship: that is, I proofread, fixed gramm...

Re: Recommend a VN

I'd be wary of ratings anywhere, since they seem to reflect a rather conventionally-biased groupmind.

For example, I'd not consider Sharin no Kuni anything more than "eh", and other members of 4LS have found Grisaia and Cross Channel very unimpressive.

Re: The Walking Cripple

-Yet another "what if something TOTALLY STRANGE AND UNRELATED happened in Yamaku" story
-Drunken writing
-Bad style even after proofreading a very short short

Therefore, my advice is: don't.

Re: Feelings after the game that I find difficult to deal wi

This is kindasorta wavering between the kind of stuff you find in Hanako's Broken Heart Club thread and the "feels" bazaar thread, so I'm leaving links to both of those here and locking this. See you in the other threads.

Re: The great fan fiction archive

You have fuckups in the explanations and the Disheveled entry, and minor fuckups in the Hisao and Kenji, Wake Up Little Suzu and Walking Forwards entries.

The former have been there for a while and showed no sign of going away after a revision, so yeah.

Re: The great fan fiction archive

Your concern is noted, however I won't do that at the moment because the archive is still running a trial period. Demonstrating its usefulness is part of that. Should it implode or not work out as intended, it will be removed. Besides, it's been consistently on the first page if not within the first...
