Re: Katawa Shoujo: Going in blind. [First fic ever]
No, you still have quite a few wrong mid-line breaks. The forum software handles formatting according to the viewer's screen size/resolution, so it's pointless and actually damaging to try and adjust mid-line breaks to look good on one's own screen since they'll look crap on everyone else's.

Re: Ask!
So, a fair amount of stuff has put Yamaku in/near Sendai... A lot of the backgrounds and inspiration come from Sendai, but Yamaku Academy is not in "fact" near Sendai, or even anyplace at all other than in some fictional dimension. This is partly intentional and partly due to insufficient checking....

I'm the only one who can stomach keeping up with all of the forums. And I don't know about you, but when I hear someone describe something I do as "Touhou level" I don't think it's meant as a compliment...

Frankly, if you don't know what you want to write, just don't write and work out by yourself what you do want to write instead. Polling for outside opinion will only end in tears.
This would also be against forum rules, but amazingly for once I can say that it's not the real issue here.

Yes, he could - if a compatible donor could be found, and those don't grow on trees. If he made it to the top of the recipient lists, and those are choked with people who can't survive just with medication but otherwise unaided. And if it wasn't the equivalent of hunting with a flamethrower, since i...

Re: Help yourself to a newly baked fan fic
You have a curious way of mixing polished or even lyrical turns of phrase and grammar with coarse language and broken bits of various languages. It's a bit much to take in all at once. If I had to pick something to get rid of first, I'd say the extra languages have to go. Your formatting could be be...

One opening post. Two pages of thread. What do you get out of this?
At this point, I'd heavily suggest "wait and see".

I'm just going to say that "author's notes" (not enough quotation marks exist to properly express how many I would add) are getting to be a scourge and the equivalent of writing suicide on these forums.

Re: If Hanako's scars looked like this...
I find the media from ANY country to be self-centered to the point of tunnel vision, but to be fair I live in a fairly unimportant and pretty buffoonish country, so I can't throw too much blame around. Nor can I be proud of the fact that "vitriolize" is a word here. Anyway, I was just bringing the v...
