Re: Good Experience Nearly Ruined At the End
Hmm... I didn't think Hisao was particularly dense in this route - excluding the bad end of course. I think the flag for Rin's first bad ending is even worse than the "call it a day" choice, because it deosn't really differ much at all from the oter two choices, but I agree that this one is not imme...

Re: Naomi Inoue and the Meaning of Mango Shakes
Ah... Umber's... unique writing style. It has me reread some sentences multiple times only to realize that yes, they are grammatically correct, though the meaning might be a bit esoterical sometimes. Have you considered writing some Rin? I think your style would be very suited for it. As for this st...

Re: Valse Sentimentale - OC Drabble (Updated 4/10/16)
I should feel guilty that a part of my courage to speak up came from not wanting anything to stain my homework, but right now that’s not really that important. She was doing her writing exercises, not her homework. “I… I don’t know if I get it, but,” I start, dropping to a knee so that we’re a bit ...

Re: Good Experience Nearly Ruined At the End
Your points of criticism about Shizune's arc are what most others mentioned as well: Long-winded, the romance wasn't really that and "needed more Misha" :-) As for recommendations... Rin's arc is... difficult. If you're looking for some fluff after Shizune's path, I recommend doing Hanako next and R...

Re: Flutter - Level Nine: Temperance Arcana [8/4/16]
Knock-knock ... Tap-tap-tap Really? “I wasn’t being serious! I thought he’d have gotten my sense of humour by now!” She exclaims. Actually Hisao's own friends have a much higher propensity for that kind of humour, so, yes, he should... He looks almost as surprised as me "As surprised as I" Nice cha...

Re: Regrets - A Post-Bad End Musing (Updated 4/6/16)
I stare at her, my appearance cross and full of appraisal as the overcast sky shifts harmlessly above us. I don't think "appraisal" is something an appearance can be full of, because an appraisal is an action. Were you going for appreciation? Apprehension? I was going to comment that it was strange...

Re: Good Experience Nearly Ruined At the End
I agree with your assessment of Lilly's arc, but the decision in the dispute between Lilly and Shizune is only a mistake if you want to reach Lilly's path. It's not something that will lead you to Kenji

Re: Good Experience Nearly Ruined At the End
Well, two of the choices that lead to the Kenji ending are quite obvious and whoever chooses those has only themselves to blame. The other two - the one with Lilly and Rin and the one with Misha in the classroom - are quite easy to misinterpret, and I agree that those leading to the bad end are a bi...

Re: Regrets - A Post-Bad End Musing
I concur with the others: an interesting and as of yet little used concept. Also, your writing style fits a well-read narrator like Hisao better than the OC from your other story. At the beginning I was expecting Rin to be the person who would be able to see Hisao - of the characters from the VN she...

Re: For Want of a Nail - Misha Route (Updated 4-1-16)
I'm now at the point where all I could do is reiterate my previous points - which is something I won't do for SC's sake if nothing else... Just one thing: This is true, but the general likelihood of those happening in a situation where a layperson bystander is the first responder are statistically f...

Re: For Want of a Nail - Misha Route (Updated 4-1-16)
Wow... This makes me afraid to become unconscious for any reason anywhere near where this is taught... Glad I'm a continent away! First, the patient being "unresponsive" is extremely vague. What is "unresponsive"? Is a patient unresponsive if they don't answer you but just follow you with their eyes...

1: Aren't you in Germany? Do you sleep? At all? Weekend. DST. 3: Current guidelines recommend compression-only CPR for SCA. No "romantic" kiss of life (followed by equally romantic vomiting all over the place). CPR stands for C ardio P ulmonary R esuscitation. It is a combination of giving the pati...

Re: For Want of a Nail - Misha Route (Updated 4-1-16)
You'll recall the Nurse's dire warning about a blow to the chest, yes? He was referring to commotio cordis. Hisao has Long QT syndrome, placing him at elevated risk for commotio cordis. Commotio cordis is a type of sudden cardiac arrest. Treatment recommendations for sudden cardiac arrest include i...

Re: For Want of a Nail - Misha Route (Updated 4-1-16)
In that case CPR is probably still premature but given that Misha is also not a doctor I don't expect her to know that. In a weird roundabout way it's actually kind of logical. Wrong, but understandably so. Of course, Misha is no doctor and can be mistaken about what kind of measure is appropriate....
