Re: Reach for the Stars
Honestly I'm not even sure that interactivity is required for a VN--could one just write a short story, slap some visuals and a soundtrack on it, and call it a VN? Maybe! I tried to chew over the definition of VN once before and in the end I didn't really come to any kind of conclusion that satisfi...

Re: New KS article on japanator
Yes, but there's not a single scene in KS where you describe a sunset to Lilly...
Also I don't agree that you typically help the girls with tasks relating to their disabilities. In fact KS tries to avoid this as far as possible - completely as far as Shizune, Hanako and Emi are concerned.

Re: New KS article on japanator
I wonder if that guy read another VN......most plot points depend on assisting the girls in things they can’t do, like carrying things for armless Rin or informing blind Lilly of what the sunset looks like.

Re: Love Is Blind
Remember in the dream sequence of chapter 2, how Lilly said she could see the inner workings of people? Well, that was a dream. The dream of a guy about a girl he loves. I once had a dream about the girl I loved back then, and she had wings (the feathery kind, like an angel) It's one of the few dre...

Re: Winter writing (xmas story end pg8)
First Akira and my mother started going at it, then the next day Lilly got fed up with it and tried to intervene, putting her at odds with her mother once again. I think she's at odds with Hisao's mother as her own mother isn't even present ;-) Anyway very good conclusion of this story arc. I'm loo...

Re: Love Is Blind
A few points that require some serious suspension of disbelief:
- a seven year old teaching himself (!) Japanese.
- a twelve year old beating up his father.
- Lilly accepting a proposal like that after meeting him just once before.

Re: Reach for the Stars
I'd never even heard of any OELVNs besides KS before. Heck, when Crud and Suriko did that panel, I was surprised there was a seperate acronym for them. So I can't really comment on their quality compared to japanese ones. I do agree that VNs could do a lot better if they got decent storylines. I rec...

Re: If you *actually have* a physical disability, what is it
I sometimes wish i had a disability. Like a missing eye. Hell if i know why. This in and of itself may be an issue. I"m not a doctor, though, so I can't say anything more. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_integrity_identity_disorder I read about that before. If at all, Anajamois seems to be a very...

Well, I didn't really like your version of Shizune - even less than the version in the original VN.
I just can't stand that kind of self-destructive behaviour...

Re: Love Is Blind
- You skipped several days between chapter one and two. Why? The first days are the ones that would make the biggest impression on him. I see no obvious reason for the skip, except for the fact that he has been dreaming about Lilly several times. Just one dream (the dream scene was very nice by the...

No complaints regarding language, taypos aso. About the story... - Severe epilepsy can probably be a very limiting affliction, but "a seizure a couple of months ago" would probably be nothing you'd be sent to a school like Yamaku for. - Also, they probably wouldn't send him to a school in Japan. A c...

I don't think the portion of deaf people who are not educated about sex is significantly higher than the portion of hearing people who aren't educated about sex. * And there's other ways than (sign) language to express consent very eloquently... *I remember a case here in Germany a few years ago whe...

Can't be. Which university does allow four years to be spent on a thesis?
