There's no way you could do any of the five storylines justice in only four or five episodes.
Not that you could even with more - there's just too much internal monologue going on that's really important to the story...

Actually there are bits of dialogue that change (e.g in Emi's and Rin's path depending on whether or not Hisao has been to the Shanghai in Act 1), but to the best of my knowledge this doesn't affect any of the choices and flags needed to get a specific ending.

If they had wanted there to be an afterword, they'd have included it in the VN.

I think Shizune's path lasted until graduation, because finding replacements for the student council was a major plot point. All other paths didn't because it wasn't necessary.

Actually not only that, I've noticed some paths only go to Hisao's 3rd year, while one (or two) goes to his graduating year. The third year IS the graduation year. Hisao arrives at Yamaku about one month into the last school year. Most paths end before the summer holidays, one ends with the graduat...

There's no way to go to the shanghai (Detour Ahead) if you choose to read your book in LET, even if you previously raised some of Shizune's flags.
Also, previous flags don't carry over beyond that choice.

It's explained in the flowchart. You have to get two of the three choices concerning Hanako right for the necessary option to show up in Lunch evolution theory.
Regarding the Introduce/aplogize-thing, Yuuko pretty much tells you you made the wrong decision if you just introduce yourself.

Actually, in the library the "correct" choice for Hanako would be to apologize for scaring her, but you can get to her path even if you mess that one up.
