Re: hanako and hisao meet again (short story from cpl_crud)
Well the first part was written before the path in KS was finalized, and it was probably written so as not to spoil any of the contents of the VN. The second part was written much later and seems to contain a few retcons that weren't intended when he wrote part one, to make it more consistent with w...

Re: 99% completion blues
If you do not have 100% in the library, there is definitely at least one scene in either of the paths or in act 1 that you haven't unlocked yet. It doesn't matter if you have read every bit of text. If you really do have every scene and still don't get 100%, this is probably a bug. Having 100% will ...

Re: RP-er turned writer attempt. (Feedback appreciated!)
Well, so far there is only one feedback I can give you: Don't do bios! I know that maybe a bit strange to roleplayers (I did a lot of roleplaying as well in the past), but for a story you don't need character sheets. It's okay to make them for your own reference to keep your facts straight and consi...

Re: Bad Vs Neutral Endings (Spoilers, obviously!)
In Rin's path I can't bring myself to think of any of the two bad endings as neutral. In one they break up in anger, in the other both end up heartbroken, because Hisao failed to understand Rin's problems. If anything I would have thought the anger-ending had more chance for a positive resolution. W...

I think it is extremely rare for a person to be both deaf and also mute, since the two conditions are not (physically) related at all.
It's just that people who are deaf have an extremely hard time learning to speak.

Well, if I was still going to school, that would be Emi.
If you're talking about today's me, her mother would probably be more appropriate, but she's apparently already taken

Re: KS Academic Conference Paper - Seeking Help
1. Which girl's thread affected you the most emotionally? Why did it do this? I have to say that would be Rin's. It's an emotional rollercoaster almost from beginning to the end. The Bad End scene in the rain was especially moving. 2. Which girl's thread did you successfully complete first (good end...

Re: General feedback
You will still see nudity, even if you disable adult content. Only explicit scenes will be disabled. The amount of story you miss by disabling the scenes varies from path to path. On Shizune's path you won't miss much of importance, while on Hanako's path the scene is integral to the plot. Other pat...

Re: The Hanako Thread - Spoilers, obviously
You know, you shoud really cut back on the insults, name-calling and the almost-invocation of Godwin's Law. I have the feeling that this thread is this close to being shut down permanently... Personally, I think that if Hisao had known how things would turn out, he'd probably just have given her a h...

The only practical uses for it are being able to notice things far off and being able to notice things not making any noise that are out of your reach. I think those are quite useful practical uses... How would things look if you could see details and shades that no one can see on everything around...

The OP said nothing about the disabilities having to be physical...purple haired Katawa Shoujo character wrote:i don't recall Schizophrenia being a physical disability.Mirage_GSM wrote: I sincerely recommend "A beautiful Mind"
And it's a great movie anyway.

Re: Other disabilities games, movies, books?
A short google-spray yielded the following: Amazon - Haven't read any of those, so no idea if they're any good. Listverse - Mostly movies and TV-shows. Some more movies - I sincerely recommend "A beautiful Mind" Also, I learned that Sherlock Holmes shows many sympoms of being bipolar. Regarding Anim...
