Re: The Yamaku Shimbun
Yeah it s a reference to the fact the Lelouch appeared in early versions of the Class CG in the demo, but was cut from the full version and replaced with a generic guy. Most likely due to a lawyer from Sunrise sendng a Nastygram to somone in 4LS. Nah, the reason was: We hate him. Anyway, Lelouch is...

Re: Sensou no Tegami (War Letters)
So it's been only four years since her letters suddenly ceased just as she was heading towards the frontlines^^° Yes, you can continue to hope, but those grey guys basically go "We think she might be dead" and Lilly goes "WHAT? I never even thought that was what might have happened!" Regarding the e...

Re: Japanese
When I was learning Japanese in evening school there was an older Chinese man in the group. Whenever he didn't understand what our teacher was saying, she used to write the kanji on the board, and he'd almost always know the meaning. Regarding personal pronouns, I always refer to myself as boku and ...

Re: Japanese
And you probably found English easy because you are German. It's as if I were learning Spanish or maybe French. I don't really think so. Grammar-wise there's not much common ground between English and German. I'd even say German is closer to French or Spanish. I think a native English speaker would...

Re: Japanese
Don't get me wrong, I really like the German language - just expect there to be a lot more grammar than you're used to from english. Then again, the same goes for almost any language I'm familiar with.
Also, I guess both Germany and Austria are nice places to study abroad in.

Re: Japanese
Switching to German because Japanese is "too hard" almost had me laughing out loud. I'm glad that German is my native language, because I would definitely not want to have to learn it as a foreign language. Of all the foreign languages I've ever learned (English, French and Latin in school and a few...

Re: Sensou no Tegami (War Letters)
Her reaction to Akira's deathseems way over the top. Letters suddenly stop coming, and she hasn't heard from her in over seven years, and the thought she might be dead never once crossed her mind? Also, your grammar has taken a turn for the worse since the last chapter. You're switching between tens...

Re: Japanese
I started to learn Japanese in evening courses. It's probably the cheapest way at... well, I paid about 60€ per semester, not sure what they charge where you live. Since I don't have the time to go there anymore I found a tutor who is teaching me via skype. Advantage: very flexible times. Disadvanta...

Re: Little Faith [Lilly Good Ending Extension, Spoilers, Sci
Glad you put your skills to work writing something I might enjoy more this time ;-) Seems to be an interesting concept. Let's see where it goes. Still some things to comment on: Hisao was released from hospital after a heart attack and heart surgery after just one weekend? Really? Medical technology...

Re: Strictly a Pulmonary matter (Feedback appreciated)
As you encourage it ;-) You jump between past and present tense several times - once even in one sentence. "as the bus drove quieter and quieter into the distance" Should be "more and more quietly" to be grammatically correct. "I don't know if I'll be able to bare it, " I guess you mean "bear". Soun...

Re: Lilly Cosplay at Katsucon 18
I can't fault anyone for not wanting to put in coloured contacts either. A) those things are expensive, B) not everyone can wear them comfortably and C) most people wouldn't notice anyway. And do you know how hard it is to change the styling of a wig? Tying a ribbon into one is next to impossible fo...

Re: Reconciliation - (a Hanako bad-end story)
It's not about math - it's about karmaConsidering her almost DIckensian backstory, she's due for some good luck. Yes, I studied math, I know what the Gambler's Fallacy is, but romantic drama is not a genre that interests me because of its intense commitment to cold-eyed realism.

Re: Most Physically Attractive Girl
Man, Sailor Mercury is cuter than Shizune. I'd probably think differently to see her as a "real" person, but something about the way she's drawn lacks the typical animesque cuteness that, well, everyone else in the game has... Well, at least you can see how Sailor Mercury looks as a real person . S...

Seriously, this story is supposed to be finished. Mocaw said he was thinking about a rewrite, but hasn't decided whether he'll do it.
