Re: Rika Story - updated 5/8/2012 (mature content)
Since You used some polish words (parasol, serial) and (if I understand) You're a student in early twenties, I strongly suspected You have polish origins. Duh. Polish? "Serial" is a perfectly British word, and "parasol" is actually derived from French, but still commonly used in English. While both...

Re: Running Interference (Yozora vs. Hanako, Xover) Updated
11th floor? Really?
And why does Hisao still wonder how Hanako learned about Yozora? I thought it would be obvious.

Re: What Lies Beneath: Updated 5/15/12 Chapter 5 now up
Well, it is pretty much foreshadowed in this chapter... One (very) minor thing: In scientific texts you would usually find the causes for an illness or condition at the beginning of the paper instead of at the end, usually right below the symptoms. It doesn't make sense to structure a text from well...

Re: very short suzu write thing stuff
I"m not a writer Don't be silly, you're already a better writer than plenty of others out there on the internet. If it's something you want to improve on, the best way to do that is to write more and more, but don't sell yourself short. And if you want to improve your writing, you should definitely...

Re: The Haunting: A Love Story
Well, this is certainly new. First story I've seen about character death that wasn't Hisao. I've loved your other stories and I'm excited to read this one. Obviously you haven't read any of doomish's early fics yet... Also, there's an older Death Note crossover, I believe Saki has died in one short...

Re: Avatars (Baka to Test Crossover, Lilly VS Shizune)
At least one character in the anime seemed to get hurt every time his avatar got injured. This would be fatal for Hisao.

Re: Deus Ex: Katawa Revolution (Part 5 Posted)
Seems to me like too many drawbacks for anything but lifesaving treatments and military projects. Also, why would you neat to "control" an artificail heart? It's not like you can control your natural one in any way. And we have artificial limbs today that are way better than a "fake, strapped-on arm...

Re: Deus Ex: Katawa Revolution (Part 5 Posted)
Well, as I read it it is not the prosthetic that the body rejects, but the chip that is implanted in the brain, this "neuroprosthetic junction".
So even if nerves are ultimately directed by the brain, as long as you do without that chip, you should be golden.

Somehow I can't imagine something like that would be a good idea in a school for the disabled - especially for Hisao, who could die, if someone hit him too hard...
Oh, and you mixed up Shizne's and Lilly's classes.

Excuse me, but if he KNEW he would react to the word like this, why did he ASK Hanako for the ingredients? And usually, people who act like that in reaction to common, everyday words are placed in an environment where they do not have access to sharp objects... I think you're going a bit overboard w...

The closest I can think of right now is the double consonant you sometimes get when constructing a gerund, like "shipping" for example, only with a very short, abrupt pause after the "p"...

Re: The United States of Misha Updated 5/13
I spotted one tiny problem. The nickname "cachan" is too similar to "kachan", a term used to call one's mother in a friendly manner by some... Actually, that's not a problem at all, because kaa-chan is pronounced with a long vowel, while Misha usually creates her nicknames using double consonants (...

Re: Deus Ex: Katawa Revolution (Part 5 Posted)
So this drug is only necessary for augmentations that directly interface with the brain, i.e. are thougt-controlled. This means an artificial heart for Hisao would not be a problem at all, and neither would be prosthetic limbs for Emi or Rin, since they can be controlled by muscles and nerves. You c...
