Well, Beoran posted most of this story before in another thread, so there wasn't really anything to add to the discussion there. Personally I didn't like this fic so much - not because there's much wrong with the quality of writing, but because the whole premise is pretty unrealistic and gratuitious...

I was going to write some comments on the Japanese grading system and earthquakes, but as I continued reading, I decided it would not be worth it.

As far as I can tell, the limiting factor for post length is characters, not lines. As each line break is only a single character, this shouldn't affect stability at all, but it would do wonders for readability. The total length of posts on one page has to my knowledge not managed to break the forum...

Then he says it probably never came up before.
You might want to remove the second sentence.
