An excercise in "How many metaphors can I cram into one chapter?"
And another case of "That guy needs to see a psychiatrist."

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 8/16)
I only use spoiler tags when I can reasonably assume that other persons reading my pot haven't read what I'm posting about yet. In a forum thread below the post I am referring to that is not a reasonable assumption. As griffon said, there is this useful option to go straight to the last unread post....

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 8/16)
Why are you all spamming spoiler tags? Anyone who has read the thread to this point will also have read the story. (And if they read comments first, they only have themselves to blame.) I see no indication of suicide. In a story that is PoV of the character in question there should be some kind of i...

Actually I think this stands pretty well on its own.
I'm not sure what a sequel could add.

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 8/16)
That's also a way to avoid resolving a conflict  You know while I was reading that chapter I was getting the ffeling that I was in a greek tragedy. You know the kind, where everything could turn out right, but all the character insist on taking the single course of action that will steer the s...

Re: Behind my scars [Updated to: Chapter 3]
My eyes remain fixed on the plane as it comes in for landing, then shift to look past the glass doors of the entrance to scan the faces for my blind friend. “Lilly!” I shout, louder than I expected myself to. Seems they made it through immigration and baggage claim in record time. ..says Lilly to H...

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 8/10)
Also, narcolepsy isn't a mental health issue, so I don't see the need to see a psychiatrist. Seeing a counselor long-term to cope with her brother's death would probably be a good idea though. Uh... That's what I meant. I don't see how a psychiatrist could help with narcolepsy anyway. Is there a di...

Nor did I imply that.I don't see her condition as being bad enough to warrant being institutionalized.
Yes, she should see a psychiatrist.
Maybe she should take medication.
No, there shouldn't be any need for institutionalization.

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 8/10)
My point was that someone who is as traumatized as that should be seeing a psychiatrist for help. I'm no psychiatrist myself, but she probably should be taking medication against those depressions, too. At the start of the story it seems like Suzu is just a narcoleptic girl who suffers from nightmar...

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 8/10)
If you've never met (or been) a high school student feeling anxiety about their future, then I simply can't help you there. There's a qualitative difference between feeling anxious about one's future and getting a nervous breakdown every time someone mentions university... I personally don't see it...

Re: A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (updated 8/10)
As much as Hisao seems to have pushed the dreams away -mostly- she continually rejects the future - ad nauseum. There's a bit of a broken record note in the way she repeatedly draws on that history, then pushes away the parts that should be opening her eyes. Now, this far into the story, she's stil...
