Re: Shower Scenes
Really liked the Misha and Miki endings. The neutral Shanghai ending was fun as well, but a bit unsatisfying as an ending. It did contain a lot more spelling mistakes than the other endings. I didn't like the last ending that much - about everybody acted way out of charater there... Well, with the p...

Re: Hisao and Kenji- Master Detectives! 11/10 Update
Douglas seemed pretty confident in his toys, and, having dealt with power armor in the past, I could see where that confidence came from. Yeah, I remember he personally killed a couple of guys wearing them, aremd with only a pistol... "...I don’t recommend you go that far, though. Not only will the...

First, a few minor typos: The weather is fair and seems it will be that way for sometime. ...for some time. ...giving me the look of a wounded animal wondering the town walkways. wandering As for the story... It's something different, I'll give you that. I'm not sure at this point if this is suppose...

Re: Hisao and Kenji- Master Detectives! Updated 11/6
Claudia shook her head, “you need something a helluva lot bigger. And you’ll need some armor, and you’ll need somewhere to hide this guy as bait so you can light an area up without attracting attention,” I submit this as evidence that the change in direction probably won't be as great as you imply ...

When I was living in Japan, there were a few of them at the station in the mornings once or twice a week, trying to distribute the Japanese version of the Watchtower. Interest wasn't that great, though...Mrs. Furukawa is Japan’s only known Jehovah's Witness (according to Guinness)...

You can handle telling the reader where the story connects to the VN in one or two lines. There's no need to retell half a chapter. In an extreme case, something beginning with "since that day in the hospital/after my second heart attack/..." or somehing similar would suffice. I'm not sure it's expl...

Re: Akira Pseudo-Route [Updated as of 11/2]
Sorry for being so brief in my last post. It was half past one in the morning and your chapter was longer than I expected... Hisao said "at least the music is good" which implies that in his opinion all the rest of the establishment is terrible. It is entirely possible for a break in 8-ball billiard...

Despite its small size; there’s more a few people here. more than? “At least the music is good.” I comment. I was under the impression he liked the rest as well... The 3 enters the pocket straight out of the break, and is joined on the tally by the 2, 4, and 5. My jaw drops, my shoulders slump in d...

Re: Akira Pseudo-Route [Updated as of 10/27]
I'm noticing a difference between the people who are most/least bothered by it, and I think the main factor here is 'suspension of disbelief'. This is a generalization and completely baseless speculation, but I'm thinking all of the folks that are least bothered by it are the ones that have followe...

Okay, not bad for a first attempt to write in a foreign language. Still a lot of grammar issues, the most glaring of which are the tenses. I suggest you ask around for a proofreader, since discussing all of them here would be cumbersome. As for the story itself: Why does Hisao remember the end of Li...

The Yellowstone Caldera is quite well known. Both Cracked and Damninteresting had stories about it. Also Exit Mundi - a site I don't recommend reading when you already have problems sleeping... I don't remember when Schlock Mercenary referred to this, but it has to be several years worth of comics a...

Re: For Want of a Nail - Misha Route
I claim part of the responsibility for the punctuation issues. I was supposed to proofread, but I'm afraid I concentrated more on other issues, and as my own proofreaders can attest, I tend to use too much punctuation myself if I'm not careful. I blame German punctuation rules... Anyway, the next re...
