Correct. The Japanese school system has trimesters from elementary school to the end of high school.

Well, "crime against decency" might be exaggerating it a bit, but it's true kissing in public is frowned upon by many people, and holding hands is much more uncommon than in western countries.

I have no plans on writing Hanako out of the story since she's the main interest in the story, and things between them will start changing around the end of the next chapter. Maybe you should consider writing stories for girls other than Hanako. You don't seem to have a solid grasp on her character...
