Re: Learning To Fly - A Saki pseudo-route (Updated 6/2)

Just a few comments on the latest chapter: Instead, you’ll go to that teacher’s homeroom. I’ll be here tutoring science. You’ll go to Mrs. Miyagi’s classroom if you want help with English, and so on.” In Japan teachers don't have their own classrooms. In fact that seems to be a US thing, because ove...

Re: As Long As I Have You (A Lilly x Hisao Fanfiction)

“Actually, I got fired... for quote on quote, ‘being a liability’
And one more thing: It's "quote, UNquote" - and technically the "unquote" should come at the end, but that seems to be one of the things that has spread too far to be corrected ever...

Re: As Long As I Have You (A Lilly x Hisao Fanfiction)

Thanks for putting it up here! A few comments regarding continuity and consistency: "... during the extremely long and quiet drive home." ... "... after 15 minutes or so of semi-conscious driving." This may be subjective, but 15 minutes is not all that long a drive to work... all of the different ce...

Re: Salvation

I might be horribly mistaken then, in which case this is very embarrassing and will require some fixing. Somehow I had it in my head that Shizune would refer to Lilly as, "Class Rep," "her," "That Woman," or some other way of speaking about her without directly acknowledging her. She certainly does...

Re: The Ritual Beneath The Stars [One Shot]

In this case it's more Kounibyou
Jokes aside, I really enjoyed this one. It's certainly not like anything I've seen before - both in using Aoi and in her... quirk.

Re: Salvation

“Did you tell her? About Hanako and I?” "About Hanako and me" - since that is Hisao talking it could just be his mistake, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. If Misha didn’t tell her about Hanako and I... Same here, but this time it's not direct speech. I will never be able to understand why she s...

Re: Salvation

he’s unphased by my comment.
"unfazed"
Her and I are better friends than her and Hanako
"She and I" / "she and Hanako"

Also: "Hicchan"

Aside from those minor things this was really good - both your Misha and (surprisingly) your Kenji.
Looking forward to further chapters.

Re: Shiina 2

Well, that was surprisingly not like your usual stories...
It was really good... Not that your usual stories aren't good - just an acquired taste :-)

Re: The Involuntary Lock-In (Hisao x Miki)

If I had to find something to comment on it would be that the story came out just a few days after another story about two different characters being locked in the library - that one did have some conflict, despite not being much longer - which does not really help the argument that the story is no...

Re: Some oneshots by me, Brick

Well... Under-description sure CAN be lazy in some circumstances, but this story turned out to be a coherent whole in the end - even if I didn' expect it to after the first few paragraphs :-)

Re: Some oneshots by me, Brick

For a randomly requested story it is quite good. You got a pretty good grasp of the two characters, and you managed to give the story a little spin beyond the original request. The only thing I don't understand is why watching things spin would make Suzu fall down - erratic movements might cause epi...

Re: The Involuntary Lock-In (Hisao x Miki)

Call it "commonly agreed on" then if you don't like "objectively". Objectively doesn't mean that every last person on the planet has to agree with you or you couldn't claim that vaccines do objectively work either... (Yes, there is more "wiggle room" in how people experience stories than in how vacc...

Re: The Involuntary Lock-In (Hisao x Miki)

Also if you call a meme tired or unfunny or forced you only give it more power This one you have to explain to me: The only reason to include tired and unfunny memes would be to annoy readers. That is something that may be a valid strategy on reddit or 4chan, but when your goal is to write an engag...
