The Yamaku Library - The fan fiction archive -23/09/14

Hello and welcome to http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa205/kodakami/YamakuLibrary_zps0e6f1303.png Since the sheer amount of Katawa Shoujo Fanfiction has made it very hard to find just what one is looking for, we have created this library to help new members to find those fan fictions they might l...

Re: KS 2- Rise of Kenji - The Fanfiction

I agree - interesting to say the least. I'm not sure if you intended the prologue to happen during the festival. If so, it's unlikely that everyone was already asleep at the time. Also, the dorms don't have double rooms. All stuff you can certainly change for your story, since you seem to have chang...

Re: Living

Regarding quantitative adverbs: my hands a little more steadier now. "more steady" Come to think of it, the way Akio holds himself has changed a fair bit since the girls showed up. I just realized that if Akio had a thing for Naomi, things would be quite difficult... Osteoporosis and Epilepsy don't ...

Re: Developments (Lilly Bad End Continuation) [Ch 9 up 8/24]

My hand shaking, I put my stone on the board. I look down and see that although Miss Yumi has beaten me again, it is a much closer game than in the past. Wow! Beaten after only about 15 moves each. That's a very short game of Go, even on a 9x9 board. ;-) It's been some time since I read "Sisterhood...

Re: Katawa Kijo

Thank you very much for the laurels! Maybe a few comments as to why I did things the way I did. Warning! This post contains major spoilers about this story for those who have not read it! you simplified things significantly (no magic items, no spells in the strictest sense, etc.), but I think this w...

Re: Waiting (Chapter Four, 8/24)

Seems like a better contender than caffeine at this point. What? Coffee is better than caffeine? Hisao strides in, sporting gym clothes, and looking thoroughly worn out. At this point I had to reread the chapter to check where the scene takes place. Up to here I assumed he was sitting in the classr...

Reading the FAQ might help:
The FAQ wrote:Q: Will there be a fandisc, sequel, or prequel to Katawa Shoujo?
A: No. There will be no other work in any way related to Katawa Shoujo.

Re: Living

Well, let me use an easy to understand analogy:
It's a bit like planning to make a lot of money when you're grown up without having the slightest idea what job you might want to do.

Re: Would you watch Katawa Shoujo anime?

At the moment KS is only available in English and French. Some other translations including Japanese are in the works. As for the language an anime would be dubbed in - since there won't be an anime, there will obviously be no dub either. Generally speaking, if an anime is made, the dub will natural...

Re: Living

Like dewelar said - if you left out the "flatter" the sentence would read "My voice is far assertive than I had intended." which obviously makes no sense. Instead of asking who he ends up with. Ask who he ends up with first. ... I haven't even decided on the first girl yet. Hmm... sounds like you ma...

Re: Tips for fanfiction writers (that means YOU)

You don't try to make a life-size statue if you've never sculpted before.
You don't run a marathon if you've only ever run sprints.
Writing is the same.
Writing a story with an elaborate setting and multiple complex characters is the marathon of writing.

Re: Living

the area is relatively devoid of people. devoid ( not comparable ) - empty; having none of; completely without "devoid" is not comparable. That means you can't use it with any qualifiers like "relatively". Either it is devoid of people or it isn't. ...Guess I need to brush up on my Japanese numbers...
