Re: Revenge and Ice Cream (A Misha & Rin One Shot)

"Vanilla. Boring on its own, but goes well with lots of other things."
*Mental note* Do not eat cereals while reading fanfictions!
Really nice fic. I liked it a lot, and I don't think Misha is OOC...
Will add to archive :-)

Re: Of Secrets and Scandals (an OC psuedo-psuedo-route)

I was worried that might lose me some points. There is actually a pretty good reason for her having to be foreign, though that won't come along for a good while. As for her excuse for being in Japan I'll just have to hope it's convincing, that'll probably come up soon. As long as there's a reason i...

Re: Of Secrets and Scandals (an OC psuedo-psuedo-route)

I usually prefer to read stories here in the forums, but since this is quite short, I thought I'd give it a try. So far I like it. The different fonts are a nice touch. Not as obtrusive as using different colours^^° Can't say much about your OC yet. She surely is likeable. Again a foreigner. Not nec...

Re: Zombie Apocolypse

You people get so obsessively anal over "No requesting" stretching it to cover as much as possible for the simple sake of getting to yell at people, if I didn't know any better I'd say you were all women, but girls don't exist on the internet. I did not yell at you, but I admit that I was tempted t...

Re: Zombie Apocolypse

No.
1. No requesting.
2. It's impolite to simply continue another person's story without permission, even if this is just the fragment of a story.
3. What's with people necroing threads left or right without having anything meaningful to say?

Re: Behind my Scars [Updated to: Chapter 5]

Hmm...
First of all I can't imagine a scene like that happening anywhere in Japan.
But even if it did, Hisao's reaction is way out of character for him.

Re: For my Sister (Akira/Lilly fic, in progress)

First I wanted to object, that the Satous are rich enough that Lilly and Akira wouldn't have to share a room. Then I read on and realized this incongruity was intentional. Well played. With a mother like that I can't help but think Lilly would have been happy for their parents to leave for Scotland ...

Re: The great fan fiction archive

You see, "spoilers" has a different meaning for everyone. Some people would call the fact that Emi's father is dead a spoiler, for some it would be obvious. To comb every story in here - or even only those which are already listed - for stuff someone might consider a spoiler is a task I'd assign sum...

Re: The great fan fiction archive

Oh my, you've included Greater than the Sum in here. I'm flattered. You're welcome. I always liked that story, and I think it's very much worth including. If I may make a suggestion, perhaps the "begins" parameter would be best be renamed "timeframe"? Then you're not limited to listing an arbitrary...

Re: The great fan fiction archive

I am using the format, No, you're not. The format includes all those tags for making parts of the text bold, so you can actually find the information among this wall of text. I was under the impression all fanfics were worth mentioning, so I've been indiscriminately tagging everything. One rule SC ...

Re: The great fan fiction archive

Please do NOT submit any fics you haven't even read yourself!
It's enough work correcting your entries for those fics you have read.
And please use the format provided in the OP.

It's not explicitly stated, but this rule has been interpreted (and enforced) several times to include requesting the author to take his story into a specific direction...

Re: The great fan fiction archive

So far I used spoiler tags when the pairing was part of a surprise.
Of course it requires the willpower not to highlight it from the reader, but in theory we should all be adults here...

Re: The great fan fiction archive

time to figure out an easy way to count the big stories... For the biggest one's I hope that the authors will provide the info themselves (I'm looking at you Scissorlips, Helbereth and Hoitash) - I guess most of them have the stories in a word doc and can do a word count easily. That's why I left m...
