Re: Which ending(s) do you consider the worst?
Because giving someone the opportunity to voice their opinions on a matter is totally callous... No, but doing so right after withholding important information about one's relationship from your partner for the purpose of testing their commitment totally is. That's only because you're still assumin...

Re: Which ending(s) do you consider the worst?
What she's really trying to do here is get Hisao to reveal what he wants without explicitly prompting it Like I said in my previous post: If she was actually callous enough to put Hisao to the test in a situation like this, this would make her actions even worse. Even I don't think she is that bad....

If she really kept this from him all the time and then used this phrasing deliberately to test Hisao...
I don't know, but I think that would be even worse, because it would mean that she feels not a shred of remorse.

Re: Which ending(s) do you consider the worst?
Taking the mindset that Lilly is just using Hisao and is perfectly fine leaving him pretty much directly contradicts every other interaction they have together... Uhm... Did I say that anywhere or imply it? Because if that's the case please point it out to me and I'll try to make myself more clear....

Re: Which ending(s) do you consider the worst?
The only evidence to back up the "bitch" interpretation is Lilly's answer of "some… time" after Hisao asks how long she's known she's going. No that's not the only thing. There's quite a lot of subtext, both in the scene at the Shanghai and in the scene with Akira and a few other scenes as well. Se...

Re: Firewall. [A Hanako prequel.]
can hardly be called a prequel because doing all that would most likely mean that Hanako never enters Yamaku ... I smash one of the lights surrounding the mirror, give it a quick blast of blowtorch, ... I ditch the lighter, curl up beside the toilet, and cry as hard as I can Plausible Deniability...

Re: Which ending(s) do you consider the worst?
If it's obvious, why doesn't he say it when given the chance rather than chase her down at the last minute and nearly kill himself? Because the way that this scene plays out Hisao can't help but think that Lilly made the decision a long time ago. Absolutely not. She never knows what she's going to ...

Re: Developments (Post-Lilly Neutral End) [Ch 31 up 1/10]
The last line of Lilly's bad ending: "But even so, it feels like there's a certain missing part in both of our lives now. Something that can never be replaced." I have a slightly different concept of "happy thoughts and happy memories" ;-) I've played neither Suikoden nor System Shock, but I'm certa...

Re: Meeting Lyle
Well, maybe that's why I don't like GB stories in general.
There's not really a point in using those characters in the first place if their personalities are completely different.

Re: Which ending(s) do you consider the worst?
I feel like you left a pretty critical word out of your question…"bad". Was really confused at first. If I had included "bad" I would not have had to add an "other" option ;-) That said I didn't really expect someone to actually vote for one of the good endings. Shizune's good end might not be the ...

Re: Which ending(s) do you consider the worst?
Unless we expand the question to include fanfiction, there's really only one end that applies here. Kenji's end is the reason I even included this point. For example I don't see Emi's bad end as on the same level. It's a setback, a huge missed opportunity. However she is tough. That won't bre...

Re: Developments (Post-Lilly Neutral End) [Ch 31 up 1/10]
I'm with Griffon on this one: If there are only two endings and one is better than the other, the other one is bad by default. If in an ending the two main characters seperate and are both unhappy about it, that ending is a bad one. If the main character dies, the ending is a bad one. By that defini...

Which ending(s) do you consider the worst?
First off, the definition I am using for bad end: - If in an ending the two main characters separate and are both unhappy about it, that ending is a bad one. - If the main character dies, the ending is a bad one. As for my opinion: - I'm on the fence between Emi's ending and Rin's second bad ending....
