Re: Yamaku Book Club
I never went into that much detail... It also depends on what exactly you include in the "Levant" since definitions seem to vary. I probably would have decided according to story requirements when - if ever - the question came up in the story, But before everyone asks about their homecountries: Here...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
Found the teaser: ... Misha stands on her toes and places a kiss on my cheek. “I know. That's why we're going to come back.” *** Two shadowy figures watch the small group of people go their separate ways. “So it is true, there is another Necromancer.” “Yes. Let's get out of here before anyone notice...

Re: ...It Costs An Arm And A Leg!
Well... To be perfectly honest the meeting with Kenji felt like you just copied the scene from the VN and put in one additional character to spout corny gags and memes... If you absolutely wanted to do that scene, you could have at least spared us Hisao's internal monologue and written it from Maru'...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
Wow, I didn't expect a feedback THIS positive... Let's see... The dialogue is very rigid, almost throughout. Everyone sort of sounds like Lilly with near-perfect diction and very little personality. I'm afraid that's the case. Everybody kind of sounds like me^^° It's part of the reason I decided to ...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
And I see no reason to put ti death the idea of Sea putting up four options for the next round and have members vote for them, without justification. Well, this would result in more than a page of useless voting posts, or worse people arguing about which story to read next, and also it would be dan...

But... this is Miki, who seems like she'd just go and say what seems natural, Actually they were both lines of the narrator not Miki... He gave into his better nature He gave in to... "I was born in Scotland." Was she? I don't think it's ever explicitly stated, but I always assumed she was born in ...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
I think Mirage's input would be awesome. I love the "behind-the-scenes" stuff, and while this probably won't be anything that detailed, it should still be interesting. Well, since this story is over two years old, the people who participate in this thread should all have read it and I'm not likely ...

I also didn't want to have a character named "Lelouch" in my story, but I wanted to use the one with aphasia... I went with a compromise ;-) „Behind those two are Leon and Ooki, both from 3-3. Ooki is short for Motoki, and before you ask, he picked that nickname himself. Leon is short for... somethi...

Re: After the Dream (Post-Yamaku One-Shot)
The original post was indeed from a dream-like sequence. The idea of six people gathering around a seventh's grave, but not necessarily all at the same time. I guessed something like that. I'm still not sure which part belongs to whom, though. Also what SC said: If the annotations are longer than t...

Re: Katawa Kijo
Pacing, huh? Well, I guess we have to chalk that one up to my insufficient writing skills as well. I think it's hard to write time skips, especially in a story where the protagonist is experiencing a lot of new stuff. It would just feel strange to me to let a few days pass and then explain something...

Re: ...It Costs An Arm And A Leg!
Her and the human foghorn are the student council. She and the human foghorn... "Her is the student council" would sound stupid, wouldn't it? They finished just in time for the bell to ring. Just a minor nuance, but the way you wrote it, the bell was waiting for them to finish before ringing. Bette...
