Re: The Manila Tales –A Summer-ish Series (Updated 7/03)
“Um, March 8,” I did have a life before Them, after all. “Okay, so you’d be a… Pisces, then. Hmm,” Come on, Hisao is a scientist (i.e. an astronomer rather than an astrologer). He would know that she's an Aquarius. Not to start an astrology (completely pseudo-science) argument, but Pisces (Feb 19-M...

Re: Sakura—The Kenji Saga (Part 1-3c up 20140706)
I was a bit confused, because in this story Lilly, doesn't seem to leave for Scotland until November...
Also, I wasn't quite sure, whether Hisao was dating Hanako or Lilly before that - but maybe Kenji wasn't either, so that's that.
I'm curious what's going to happen to him after graduation.

Is it even possible to both be aware of the existance of that name and not of it's implications? It's not like there are many people still around today who carry the name. In 2006 only one in 27.700 babys was given the name Adolf - and that as a second name, probably after some grandfather. I'd be i...

What Oddball said.yummines wrote:The game was made up of users from the site. I don't know if the board for Katawa Shoujo still exists (it might just be a general thread). Heck one of the devs is named "Anonymous75"
Also his nick is Anonymous22

Re: Searching up "Katawa Shoujo"
No. Someone suggested the idea there, and some of the devs visit there sometimes, but that's as far as the connection goes.Katawa Shoujo is made from members of 4chan. It has it's own board on there.
I don't frequent that site myself, but I gather it doesn't take a lot to get a board there...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: Mendācium)
"What's something that is so horrible, it makes even the most reprehensible actions forgivable? Oh, I know! Rape!" And not even that works. Yes, by including the rape, Hanako is made a victim, but that does not make her actions before that any less reprehensible at all. It might be a reason to pity...

Re: Sakura—The Kenji Saga (Part 1-3a up 20140701)
Strangely, I did once pose the internal question of Kenji's sincerity. It all started when the seed was planted from, 'even a trope-constructed caricature couldn't turn out like this,' and grew into, 'what if this 'madness' is a facade?' (I'm too lazy to cedilla.) Well, "facade" is relative... In t...

Re: Kenji
I don't understand why you think that it is best for women to stay home and for men to go out and work. I never said that. In fact my point was that neither way is inherently better than the other... It is truly retarded and moronic if you think that each role can only be done by one specific sex. ...

Re: Kenji
It is neither moronic nor retarded. (Really, look up those words before you use them.) It's just a different way of doing things. And it's only a bad way, if you personally don't like to do it that way. Like most things in life it has its pros and cons. Men don't get to be with their families a whol...

Re: Kenji
I grew up in a conservative family in which my grandfather would work all day, while grandma would go shopping and do the groceries. All his pay went to her, and she banked it or invested it as she saw fit, and then gave him an allowance from it. Actually, that's the way it's handled in many "tradi...

Nice to see you're working on this again.
Also, feel free not to metion Suzu's inane "fear of cities". It wasn't exactly a great idea in Scissor's story, and you shouldn't force yourself to adopt it. There are plenty of other ways to have Suzu stay behind as you've shown in this very chapter.

Skipped over the first two parts - something about that house must tempt people into bondage stuff^^° One thing about the regular part of the story: [Don’t buy him any more of that crap,] Shizune snapped. Lynda blinked in surprise, before realizing Misha was still translating things to keep Shizune ...

Would people please stop trying to diagnose Aspergers in fictional characters (or really in anyone) without first putting in a few semesters of psychology? If you search the internet for Asperger symptoms you will find as many as you want depending on how much time you're willing to put in. Dependin...
