Re: The Orion Project - [Sci-Fi] [UPDATED 07/22/2014]

The Solid Adrenaline was wearing off now, replaced quickly by actual Adrenaline; synthetic being replaced by authentic. I thought it wasn't really adrenaline but only something called adrenaline for whatever reason? So that other ship didn't follow any signatures but just coincidentally popped out ...

Re: The Orion Project - [Sci-Fi] [UPDATED 07/19/2014]

I looked around the medical bay and finally found a box of Concentrated Caffeine pills, one of which he took and held in front of the girl. You should decide between first person and third person at least ;-) when reality seemed to terrible to bear Typo. I had a ship to run, so I elected to return ...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: Mendācium)

Ah, okay, I was thinking about the scene at the beginning of Lilly's Act 2.
Yes, this will probably be fixed in the next release.

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: Mendācium)

Unfortunately, beyond the entry-level nature of the writing, the premise that Miki so easily agreed to run with Emi despite the fact that in the VN itself Emi was upset that nobody on the track team was willing to run with her in the mornings kind of bugged me. When you have to contradict canon jus...

Re: Developments (Post-Lilly Neutral End) - Chapter 46 up 7/

Like Hisao said, he'd have to get VERY drunk, and I don't think he's THAT depressed.
Even if I think he's a bit pessimistic regarding his chances with both Emi and Hanako.

Yoshi on the other hand...

Hisao nodded, “I agree, both you’re JSL and Japanese.”
I don't need to say more, do I?

Re: Developments (Post-Lilly Neutral End) - Chapter 46 up 7/

Almost though, as I'm a bit surprised our characters aren't a bit more scared for Lilly. I mean if she's been missing for like one and a half day now... that's quite worrisome for me. After all, where'd she actually go, especially since she's blind and, while still very capable, probably wouldn't j...

She was totally oblivious to the risks involved with bringing a bunch of creatures into the school for no particular reason, and it showed. Though I realize the difficulty in doing so, I can't see any particular risk attached to filling a room with butterflies either... ... You know, since this sto...

Re: The Orion Project - [Sci-Fi] [UPDATED 07/19/2014]

Adverse reactions to adrenaline include palpitations, tachycardia, arrhythmia, anxiety, panic attack, headache, tremor, hypertension, and acute pulmonary edema. I'm no doctor, but in my opinion injecting oneself with adrenaline during an episode of arrhytmia is functionally suicide. Maybe the Cook ...

You do know the Cook doesn't delete threads . He just seals the most vitriolic of them so we don't poison ourselves with vile language.

Re: Adaptive technology

Is it too much to ask to simply write one explanatory sentence in addition to a youtube link?
I generally don't like to click on any links when I don't know at least vaguely what they are going to be about, but I'm also on mobile and I don't want to use up my bandwidth with youtube links.

Re: The Orion Project - [Sci-Fi] [UPDATED 07/15/2014]

You see, that's the kind of information your readers need to follow the story:
The ship is undermanned and that's why they have to avoid a battle.
Now, why is it undermanned and what are they doing there?

Re: Sakura—The Kenji Saga (Part 1 complete 20140717)

I don't know how you manage to churn out so much text in so little time... As for the suicide, I don't think there is sufficient indication in the text to explain it - not that there has to be. Simple anxiety because of going to a new school is not usually a sufficient reason. Anyway, I think this s...
