Re: The Manila Tales –A Summer-ish Series (Updated 8/28)
Maybe that’s why I asked if he was okay, even though he had told Refia he was not a minute before. This made me pause a bit, because of the ambiguity. ...even though he had told Refia he was not - a minute before. ...even though he had told Refia he was - not a minute before. I read it wrong the fi...

Re: Seven Hours (UPDATED: 8/27)
Exactly. Japan has 270.000 Soldiers - plus about 50.000 US soldiers stationed there. Hokkaido - where your rebels are apparently based just has five odd million inhabitants . No matter how much outside funding or supplies they get, this is ridiculous. The scenes you describe would be a full-fledged ...

Re: Living With a Blindside... (Update: Chapter 5 8/27/14)
A general tip is never to post your stories as soon as you finished writing them. Let them sit on your harddrive for one or two days, then read them again - reading them out loud to yourself is optional but recommended for beginners. You'll be amazed at the stuff you'll notice that you didn't notice...

Re: Seven Hours (UPDATED: 8/27)
No, the writing is more or less okay, but you don't seriously suggest that some paramilitary group waging war against the Japanese military and winning is even remotely plausible - let alone in the timeframe you suggest - do you? It even more ridiculous than the premise of Homefront - and that's set...

Same goes for most of the class, really.
There's been speculation that Miki might have lost her hand only recently, but there's no real evidence for that. For the rest I'd simply assume that all but mybe one or two have been there since year 1.

I don't know who this Watari is, but assuming he has enough money, why shouldn't he be able to?

Re: Questions about Japan & other things (Big Topic)
Transferring in mid-year has been done to the death with any number of OCs already. If you want to try something original have him transfer at the beginning of the school year - like most transfer students would. Hisao is more of an exception in that way. If you want him to replace one of the 3-3 st...

Apart from some general grammar issues you tend to say the same thing two or even three times: She kept her word ans stuck with me for the rest of the practice , .... Eventually practice ended, ... Natsumi was there by my side the rest of the practice though, and.... "Hey Natsumi, I just wanted to s...

Viewcount doesn't tell you anything. That counter will go up every time someone opens the thread, no matter if they've been in there before or not or if they read a new chapter or just the latest comment. And if they open the thread again five minutes later to read the next comment the counter will ...

Re: Seven Hours (UPDATED: 8/27)
I still remembered with joy the smug look on Hisao's face when he convinced me to live here with him, despite my protests Any reason WHY she protested? "It might turn into a warzone soon" was probably not on top of her mind... Only when we closed the door for the last time did I remember what we fo...

Because Death Note without the paranormal things could be set in the KS universe. If you remove all the paranormal stuff from Death Note - what's left? Any I'm not quite sure if Zarys is trolling a bit with those questions^^° you're all lonely otaku with Dakimakura ? Actually, when I was in Japan I...

Nice chapter again.
Less inconsistencies than the last one, though you should still think about getting a proofreader.

Re: Seven Hours (UPDATED: 8/26)
I know the premise is probably not to be taken all that seriously, but fighting rebels with artillery in a residential area is a bit silly anyway. Also, she had the news on a moment ago. If fighting had spilled out of Hokkaido, wouldn't that be more interesting than a few burned houses up north? Not...
