Re: Anyone else hate Misha?
If you try to never say anything that anyone will feel offended by you won't be able to open your mouth anymore except to breathe. For a long time "mute" was considered preferable to "dumb" because of the negative connotations of "dumb", and I understand that. Now "voice-off" is supposed to be the p...

Act I with random choices - Probabilities
Somebody asked about the probabilities for getting to the different Act I endings by purely random choices in the Ask thread. I took a shot at calculating the odds this afternoon, but I made a few mistakes, and since Aura suggested: [quote=”Aura”]If you guys want to work it out (possibly actually wo...

Re: Anyone else hate Misha?
The definition of the word "mute" includes selective mutism, so I don't see why using the term should be wrong. If some people choose to be offended by that term… Well, there's nothing nobody will be offended by - especially in the US it seems. People should consider if there is an intent to insult ...

Re: Ask!
I'm certain that somebody already did this calculation before, but I just can't find the post, so I just redid the calculation: The probabilities to get a certain Act I ending by randomly choosing your answers is as follows: Kenji: 37,5% Rin: 30,6% Emi: 23,9% Shizune: 3,5% Lilly: 2,3% Hanako: 2,3% A...

Re: Anyone else hate Misha?
It has been posted in this thread that one needs to know Japanese culture to adequately understand Shizune's route. Is there a FAQ/guide for this that doesn't spoil the story? There's another discussion board concerning htis...somewhere. I can link you to it if I have the time and can find it. ...c...

Re: Dancing: A Miki pseudo-route (updated 1/3)
Actually 'worser' is the comparative of 'worse', using a more modern analysis. Some things are worse; some things are worser than those things, but not the worst. By that logic "betterer" would be the comparative of "better" You simply cannot compare a comparative. If you have a thing that is worse...

Re: Anyone else hate Misha?
There may be various interpretations for Misha's expression in that CG but lust would have been right of the bottom of my list^^°

Re: Anyone else hate Misha?
Let me introduce you to cultural context. :D [ LINK ] (Warning, might trigger unpleasant thoughts.) I didn't know hisao was in the military. And idk how misha became a prostitute. Shoulda seem it coming.... but in all seriousness, thats a f***ed up thing to link. As most "comfort women" were sex sl...

Ah, the annual installment of this story
This has to be the story with the second-slowest update rate on this forum...
Still, it's nice to see you're still alive.

Re: Dancing: A Miki pseudo-route (updated 1/3)
Okay, the tense problems are way better in this chapter. In fact it's only the first two sentences and this part here: ..., but I didn't mind. This was the Miki I was familiar with, the one I knew. Other stuff: is getting worser by the day. "Worse" is already the comparative. The chapter was good - ...

Re: Can You Remember Me? An Amnesiac Story
Okay, first of all, if there are six weeks between updates, it's kind of inconvenient if the new chapter starts in the middle of something and you don't know where or when you are. I reread the end of the previous chapter, but it seems you inserted an unannounced time-skip that confused the hell out...

Re: The Haunting: A Love Story *UPDATED 01/01/2015*
Nice chapter. I'm waiting to see just how close you're going to stick to the anime in chapter XIII. The story diverged quite a lot in this one. As for edits, most of those would concern verb forms or tenses. I'm not going to list them all but here's one that has nothing to do with that: a vengeful s...

Re: Anyone else hate Misha?
I did read Shizune's route last, but because Shizune is my least favourite girl. Some of the things you dislike about Misha come down to personal taste, but a lot of them are plain wrong. Given what you posted, Shizune's route probably won't make you like her, but it will surely remove some preconce...

Re: Katawa shoujo Generations
I was thinking about Tantaban (I probably butchered the spelling sorry) and for some reason I thought there was something to do with a winter festival (Maybe i'm just losing my mind.) *Fixed* Tanabata is observed throughout Japan - though not everywhere on the same date - but it is unlikely that th...

Re: Katawa shoujo Generations
The scene in the beginning felt kind of rushed - he never even introduced himself. Hey man if your free sometime… you're Mr.Naki hasn’t arrived yet His name is Mr. Nakai - consistently spelled wrong in this chapter. “we have a couple festivals every year It's unlikely there's more than one. “Yeah th...
